🚨Attention TON DNS Owners!

We want to remind you that you must confirm ownership of your domain names annually.

It’s been almost a year since the first auctions were launched; therefore, owners must renew their TON DNS ownership as soon as possible.

This can now be done using Tonkeeper.

In the latest update, the wallet team added a feature allowing you to manage TON DNS domains in the app. To renew a domain name from your collection, open the wallet, select the desired domain, and click “Renew.”

You can also renew your TON DNS domains through a regular browser following these instructions.

Please remember that expired domains will be returned to the TON DNS public auction, and your ownership will be lost.

Open Rating is a platform for independent evaluation of projects in TON Ecosystem through research and compiling a detailed report based on specified criteria.

💪 In the three months since launch, we have succeeded in:
➡️ Recruiting 15 talented report reviewers and raters.
➡️ Publishing the first 11 reports.
➡️ Updating the report structure to Report [v2], in which we combined basic and technical evaluation criteria. The new version of the report is now used for more than just DeFi projects and includes specific sections for each segment.
➡️ Reaching 22,671 views.

The First Decentralized Token Farming Program in TON Ecosystem

The Liquidity Mining Rewards Campaign program on The Open Network (TON), where participants had the opportunity to become a liquidity provider for top DEX tokens on attractive terms, has ended.

However, STON.fi DEX has launched its own farming program for its STON token. It offers unique terms for supplying liquidity to the STON/TON and jUSDT/TON pools.

This is fully decentralized, smart contract farming and the first solution in the TON ecosystem. The STON.fi promotion will run until August 4.

The TON DeFi segment continues growing, convincing us that other platforms will introduce similar decentralized solutions.

​TON Accelerator hosted its inaugural Demo Day

In early July, the first-ever TON Accelerator Demo Day took place, marking the start of a monthly series of events. The primary purpose of this program is to showcase promising projects being built on TON. These innovative ventures have been identified through various channels, including hackathons, meetups, and TON Accelerator submissions. By joining TON Accelerator, these projects will gain access to invaluable mentorship as well as the potential for fundraising opportunities.

During this first event, a total of eight early-stage projects across diverse verticals were featured. All of them shared a common goal: to achieve mass adoption and leverage the power of TON Blockchain. These projects were specifically recognized for their effective utilization of the unique design space provided by TON and Telegram. Each project delivered a short presentation accompanied by a Q&A session.

​TON has entered the top-5 blockchain ecosystems for developer influx

Electric Capital recently conducted an extensive study analyzing the activity of blockchain developers in various crypto projects over the past year. The findings of this study have now been published in a comprehensive report.

Despite the obvious challenges faced by the industry, which has seen a 22% decline in blockchain developers compared to June last year, TON Ecosystem has displayed remarkable resilient growth. Over the past 12 months alone, the total number of TON developers has surged by 102%, and we now have over 170 specialists working in the ecosystem.

As a result, TON took 4th position in the rankings of developer growth over the year, marking a truly outstanding achievement, particularly given the market conditions.

Liquid staking is now available on TON

What is liquid staking?

Liquid staking is a crypto solution that allows users to stake their tokens and earn rewards without sacrificing flexibility. Unlike traditional staking, which requires users to completely lock up their crypto for a specific period, liquid staking provides users with special tokens that can be freely traded and used in DeFi apps while they continue to earn rewards. The first TON DNS auctions started on July 30, 2022, and we kindly ask users to note that the deadline for renewing domain name ownership is fast approaching.

We want to remind you that, unlike traditional centralized domain registrars, TON DNS does not require a conventional renewal fee. Instead, it is enough to demonstrate ‘signs of life’ by sending a minimal amount of Toncoin (TON).

Please carefully read the following instructions: Non-renewed domains will be returned to the TON DNS open auction.

Instructions:

(1) Go to the dns.ton.org website using a regular browser or the decentralized Tonkeeper browser within the wallet interface.
(2) Connect the TON wallet that was used during the auction.
(3) Click on the "My Domains" button to view a list of your domains along with their expiration dates.
(4) If there is less than three months remaining before a domain's ownership expires, we highly recommend renewing it immediately. To do this, click on the respective domain, then select "renew this domain," and confirm the transaction within your wallet.

Please note:

This message only applies to TON DNS owners — short Telegram (t.me) usernames do not need to be renewed.

Since the start of the auction, a total of 27,000 domain names have been registered, involving 6,000,000 Toncoin (which were subsequently burned and removed from circulation).

Introducing TonStat – a new tool for analyzing TON Blockchain.

The First Stage Labs team has launched TonStat, an analytical service that allows users to easily monitor key metrics on The Open Network (TON).

TonStat tracks various indicators, including the number of registered network addresses and wallets, the volume of Toncoin burned or staked, the number of NFTs issued, the amount of validators and several other important metrics.

The project will be continuously developed and updated with new charts. First Stage Labs aims to provide a comprehensive description of all the processes taking place on the blockchain, enabling users to independently assess the development dynamics of each ecosystem segment.

The TonStat website is able to display timely and accurate data thanks to the efforts of the TonAPI team.
