​Believers.ton — A community-driven effort to bring more transparent and predictable Toncoin tokenomics

As you know, the community is continuously working on systematic actions to amplify the TON tokenomics, which started with decentralized distribution through mining.

So far, the community reached multiple important milestones:

— Created a fund and reserve of more than 550M TON
— Nominators were established, bringing the number of validators to over 300 and the total stake employed in validation to over 450M TON
— Implemented a community proposal to optimize tokenomics, affecting 1.081B TON
— Launched a mechanism to burn a portion of the network fees

A new Believers.ton initiative has recently emerged in the community, allowing users to lock their Toncoins into the Believers.ton smart contract for five years, while other users can donate Toncoins, rewarding those who have locked their coins. The more coins are locked in the smart contract, the more transparent and predictable tokenomics become, which is vital for developing the network and attracting new participants.

We have audited and tested this smart contract at the community's request. The smart contract is fully autonomous and guarantees the described functionality.

This effort is an excellent example of how the TON community can organize itself. An excellent community-driven effort, where individual community members encourage and reward each other for contributing towards the greater good. This initiative has a significant potential to positively impact the future of TON, especially if large holders participate.

As proof of our deep interest in this effort and based on the results of the last community survey, the TON Foundation will support it by sending 1 million TON from the TON Fund to reward depositors.

Token Bridge Update

▪️ The official TON – Ethereum bridge now supports transfers of all ERC-20 standard tokens to and from the TON Blockchain. Previously, it only supported transfers of USDT, USDC, DAI, and wBTC.

▪️ The service now also supports the popular Web3 protocol, Wallet Connect. This means you can interact with the bridge using various Ethereum wallets.

▪️ Additionally, the bridge is now accessible on mobile devices.

​Important message to the TON community

Recently, enthusiasts from our community have proposed the TON Believers Fund (TBF) - a special smart contract that incentivizes miners to lock their Toncoin for a period of 5 years.

Several notable projects have already supported the fund, including major ecosystem investors First Stage Labs, DWF, Kilo Fund, ConnecTON, and Layer 3 solution and creators of Ton.Vote - Orbs. Between them, they have already donated 90,000 TON into the incentives pool.

We want to know how you feel about this initiative and are launching a vote on this matter.

What is TON Believers Fund?
TON Believers Fund (TBF) believes that there is an issue hindering the ecosystem from reaching its full potential. This issue is the centralization of TON supply among large holders, which poses a liquidation risk if these miners were to sell their coins en masse. To address this, the TON Believers Fund has created a smart contract that aims to incentivize large holders by offering fixed yields for locking their TON for 5 years.

There are two ways to use the contract:
1. Anyone can deposit TON into the contract, which will be locked for 5 years. The first 2 years are locked, and the remaining 3 years will vest monthly.
2. Anyone can donate to the contract, and these donations will be used as a reward yield for those who lock their TON.

What benefits can TBF bring?
▪️ Primarily, it aims to incentivize large holders to lock their Toncoin for 5 years.
▪️ As a result, this initiative will bring more clarity to the TON token economy.
▪️ The community will witness that large holders are committed to TON and are not inclined to sell their coins at the earliest opportunity. On the contrary, they believe in the ecosystem and actively support it.
▪️ Growth in TVL (Total Value Locked) in TON.

The TON Foundation is a neutral entity, but it acknowledges and appreciates community initiatives. Any community member should be able to propose an initiative, and if it helps solve problems, they should have the opportunity to reach out to the Foundation for support in disseminating their message. TBF exemplifies the essence of a decentralized Web 3 community.

Based on this information, the question for the community vote is: Should the TON Foundation support the TON Believers Fund by donating 1 million Toncoin to the incentives pool to attract large holders?

🐶 Punk City GameFi contest #1

We are starting the contest season to create the best web3 games for $PUNK and TON ecosystems.

🔥 Contest will be held in two stages, each will last 3 weeks:

1. Entry selection. At first, we will select projects that meet the criteria listed below.

2. Showcase and voting. Selected projects will have an opportunity to show their developments in the holders' chat, collect feedback and finalize their product. Besides, these projects will receive product and technical advice from the Punk City team. At the end of this stage, our NFT holders will choose the winner by on-chain voting. The 2nd and 3rd places will be automatically passed to the next contest.

Wallet 3.0 Updates

The Wallet team has released Wallet 3.0 with an improved interface and new user-friendly features.

▪️ Asset categorization
All your assets in Wallet are now divided into 2 categories: "Dollars" and "Crypto." The first displays your stablecoins, while the second section houses the rest of your assets.

▪️ Balance top-up button
Topping up your Wallet balance has become even easier: click on the "+" icon on the main screen and select one of the available methods. You can deposit crypto from an external wallet, purchase on the P2P Market or use a bank card.

▪️ Cryptocurrency sales
The team introduced a "Sell" button on the main screen, which directs you to the P2P Market, allowing you to easily and privately sell assets to other users.
