i remember me and some friends would spam the hell out of discord's "wave hi" on join messages whenever people joined because that was unratelimited for a while

Scripted that with a userbot, back when it wasn't rate-limited yet

Syntax is something you get used to over time, and they start to feel good.
Badly designed languages keep hurting your soul forever even when you get used to their quirks.
does anyone know how to enable rust-analyzer to show more than just type in inline hint. I want to see not just "String" but also "<String as Add<&String>>::Output"

I have my home and end keys mapped to the shift keys since I'm using homerow modifiers.

Don't ask to ask!!
Just asking for "help" won't get you any answer.
➡️ Directly ask your question with sufficient details so that people can immediately look into it and answer you if they know enough on that subject to help.
idk why but when rustrover executes the macro which parses the .rs file (with syn) it fails because on windows the line endings have \r\n but on linux its only \n, replacing \r\n to \n fixed the problem lol.
btw the code compiles normally even on windows, so its some weird shit going on inside rustrover
man rustrover is weird. theres this crazy macro we made based on utoipauto which scans through all .rs src files to find utoipa::path on endpoints, for some reason this macro breaks rustrover internal intellisense and it cant find a type which is generated from the macro, but only on windows, IF i clone the project on windows, i just managed to get it to work on windows after cloning and using it on linux first with rustrover over ssh lol

Yeah, getting the feeling that the ugliness is pretty fine because it's kinda necessary to jam all the different ideas it embodies into one grammar. Does seem like there's quite a bit of elegance in all that. Can't be the pinnacle of programming language design but actually pretty nice. Can you tell I'm in a better mood now? 😊
