Microsoft Partner Architect Rudy Huyn announced a new engineering team tasked with delivering “thoughtful and truly user‑friendly interfaces” for Windows 11 by building fully native apps and interface elements and abandoning web technologies such as WebView. The shift addresses long-standing visual inconsistency and performance issues caused by Windows 11’s hybrid use of web and native frameworks.

Microsoft confirmed plans to rewrite the Start menu on the native WinUI platform; the current Start menu relies largely on React Native. A delayed taskbar calendar widget revealed to be built on WebView is reportedly being rebuilt with WinUI.

These efforts are part of an internal initiative codenamed “Windows K2,” aimed at improving stability, usability and visual consistency across the OS. However, the fate of web-based Microsoft 365 apps, including Outlook, Teams and Copilot, remains unclear, since they are managed by Microsoft 365, which has shown limited interest in migrating to WinUI.

Absolute madness from the Vivo press room today. They are officially ditching the "photography flagship" title to go 100% into hardcore mobile gaming. The upcoming Vivo X500 Pro G (Gaming) literally has zero cameras on the back. It is just a flat glass slab. (flatter than Hu Tao 😭)

The Strategy:

Zero Bloat: Removing the camera modules saved enough internal space for a massive dual-fan active cooling system and a 12000mAh battery.

The Pogo Pin Mod: Since they know some people still want photos, they are launching the "Vision-X" module. It is a $2,000 external sensor and lens combo that snaps onto gold pogo pins on the back.

RIP OriginOS: To keep the system "ultra-light" for maximum FPS, they are actually killing OriginOS. They are bringing back Funtouch OS for all models worldwide, including the China variants.

Performance: 120FPS locked in Wuthering Waves (240 FPS with WhiteFlow Frame Interpolation) because the SoC is no longer fighting for thermal headroom or "pretty" UI animations.

Vivo's CEO reportedly said: "If you want to take a selfie, go buy a mirror. If you want to win, buy a Vivo. Funtouch is the future of speed."

BREAKING: Google Pixel 12 Series to ditch Tensor chips in favor of Qualcomm Snapdragon

According to The Verge, Google is finally looking to give up on its own Tensor chipsets. The upcoming Google Pixel 12 series in 2027 will reportedly switch back to Snapdragon SoC by Qualcomm. That's the same year when Apple will introduce their iPhone 20 lineup and thus it would be the best time for the Google Pixel to compete with the iPhones.

The Pixel 12 series will likely feature the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro processor that will launch this year. Compared to Tensor, it means:
• Way better efficiency
• Gaming performance on Pixel
• More SoT

And last but not the least, better reception network with the help of Snapdragon Modems.

Geekbench discovered that Intel's Binary Optimization can vectorize workloads, boosting some Geekbench 6.3 scores by up to 30%.

Geekbench 6.3 scores increase when BOT is enabled compared to when it is disabled. The difference is an increase of 5.5% scores in the single-core and the multi-core when BOT is enabled and with that, the 6.3 workload scores also increased, with scores for two workloads (Object Remover and HDR) increasing by up to 30%.

However, Geekbench 6.7 single-threaded and multi-threaded scores remained roughly the same with BOT enabled and disabled.

Whoa whoa whoa. Everyone CLAM down for a second.

Earlier today someone broke the news that there was a supply chain attack impacting LiteLLM which had over 97 MILLION installs. Initially it was reported the payload was vibe coded which resulted in the payload failing.

HOWEVER, this has been determined to be NOT TRUE. The payload was a SUCCESS. The payload failed in specific edge cases (currently unknown). The Threat Actor(s) managed to exfiltrate data from 500,000 infected machines (approx. 300gb of data).

I have confirmed this from three different sources. The initially news which is spreading all over social media is incorrect and this is actually a very big bamboozle.

They had one short, one opportunity, and did indeed seize it (but only failing in specific and unknown edge cases).

It's all over for LLM-dependency nerds. Also, in a bit of irony, LiteLLM is SOC2 certified by Delve.

This is very big shenanigans for a Tuesday.

Qualcomm Reportedly Replacing Adreno with Nvidia RTX to Rival AMD-Powered Samsung Exynos GPU

According to Digitimes, Qualcomm is finally looking to give up on its in-house Adreno GPU development. In a massive "Strategic Equity Alliance," NVIDIA has reportedly acquired a 10% stake in Qualcomm to fast-track the integration of Blackwell-based RTX Mobile architecture into the upcoming Snapdragon 9 series.

This move is a direct effort to rival the success of the AMD-powered Exynos chips. The Snapdragon 9 Gen 1 will feature an integrated NVIDIA RTX Blackwell based integrated GPU.

Compared to Adreno, it means:
• CUDA core integration for massive efficiency in AI tasks
• Support for NVIDIA GeForce drivers and the Omniverse on Android.

Microsoft announced a major update to the Windows Console Host that brings several features from Windows Terminal to the classic command line. The porting was possible because Windows Console is now part of the open-source Windows Terminal project, enabling parity in rendering and input features for environments without Terminal installed.

Command Prompt gains graphics support, including Sixel images, expanded clipboard functionality with OSC 52 support, regular-expression search and correct bold-font rendering. Accessibility has been improved with rewritten MSAA and UI Automation components, autoscroll now defaults on only when VT processing is active, and synchronization between WSL and PowerShell is more reliable.

Windows Insiders in the Canary channel running Windows 11 build 29558.1000 or later can test the changes; broader release is expected in coming months.

Other fixes include Alt+Numpad clipboard handling, rectangular selection, dialog compatibility with screen readers, and up to roughly 10-fold scrolling performance improvements in some scenarios.

The Pixel 10 devices (excluding the 10a) are getting a bootloader update in one of the future Android releases that increments the anti-rollback version for the bootloader.

This means that, after upgrading, you won't be able to downgrade to a lower version of Android. You might need to sideload a full OTA image again to avoid bricking in certain situations.

Search for browser.ipProtection.enabled.

Toggle the value to true.

The VPN requires a Mozilla account and has a 50GB monthly data limit. Users can manage settings through a dedicated interface in the toolbar or privacy settings menu, allowing them to bypass restrictions for individual sites. 🚨‼️ BREAKING: Crunchyroll breached through outsourcing partner in India.

A threat actor exfiltrated data from Crunchyroll's ticketing system and also managed to pull 100 GB of personally identifiable customer analytics data.

We've analyzed sample data and it includes IP addresses, email addresses, credit card details, and more.

An employee of their outsourcing partner Telus had executed malware on his system, which gave a threat actor access to Crunchyroll's environment.

The threat actor told us the breach happened on March 12, 2026. Crunchyroll revoked their access after 24 hours.

They also said Crunchyroll is ignoring all messages and still hasn't publicly disclosed the breach.
