Crayons are meant to stimulate our creativity when we are young, but for Hoang Tran, these wax pencils are more than just a way to draw and color. This artist from California carefully sculpts the small wax sticks to create some of the most popular characters out there, like Yoda from star wars or Hayao Miyazaki's Totoro
A lot of the time, he melts other wax colors and applies them over the main crayon to paint the wax characters with extreme detail. The result is quite extraordinary.
