Happy Reformation Day
Over 500 years ago the reformation shone light into darkness and opened the word of God to thousands who treasured it dearly and read it faithfully to understand the truths it contains.
Today the world is again in need of a reformation as the Bible has become a forgotten book and darkness is returning to the world as people don’t read the Bible and reject the truths it contains.
The church is as much in need of a reformation as the world is. And Christ is calling the Laodicean church to reignite its first love.
A reformation is coming as promised in Isaiah 60:1-3:
Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.
This will soon take place, after the church is purified and the sealing, as explained in Ezekiel 9, takes place. Already there are many who are interested in learning the truth about death and America's prophetic destiny.
When called to drink of the cup of tribulation and sorrow, and when tempted in his misery to say, “My strength and my hope is perished from the Lord,” he recalled the providences of God in his behalf and triumphantly exclaimed, “It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is Thy faithfulness. The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in Him. The Lord is good unto them that wait for Him, to the soul that seeketh Him. It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord.” Lamentations 3:18, 22-26. {Prophets and Kings page 421}
