Answer to yesterday’s Mark of the Beast Monday poll
When people hear the “mark of the beast”, right away all kinds of images come into their minds. They wonder, what is this? Is this a computer chip under the skin? Is it 6-6-6 tattooed in the forehead? Is it a special super card that you carry in your purse or wallet? And what is this mark? Is it something physical, is it something spiritual?
What does the prophecy in Revelation 13 mean?Does anyone have the mark of the beast right now? No.
Revelation 13 identifies the powers that would be involved in the final challenge to God’s authority.
The mark of the Beast is the ultimate test of obedience and worship. It will determine who will remain faithful to the precepts of Christ and who will fall under the banner of Satan.
Revelation 14... If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, the same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of His indignation

Keep Sunday Sacred?
Daniel 7:25
God made the world in six days and rested on the seventh, sanctifying this day, and setting it apart from all others as holy to Himself, to be observed by His people throughout their generations. But the man of sin, exalting himself above God, sitting in the temple of God, and showing himself to be God, thought to change times and laws. This power, thinking to prove that it was not only equal to God, but above God, changed the rest day, placing the first day of the week where the seventh should be. And the Protestant world has taken this child of the papacy to be regarded as sacred.
The great enemy of man's happiness has made the Sabbath of the fourth commandment an object of special attack. Satan wants to work at cross purposes with God. He will empower his followers to set aside God's memorial, the seventh-day Sabbath, and deceive the world that the day sanctified and blessed by God has been changed. He will place in its stead a day that does not bear the credentials of God, a day that cannot be a sign between God and His people. He will lead those who accept this day to place upon it the sanctity that God placed upon the seventh day.
Daniel’s prophecy says that “He shall think to change the times and the law.” The papacy attempted to change the law of God. The fourth commandment has been so changed as to authorize the observance of the first instead of the seventh day as the Sabbath.
The worshipers of God will be especially distinguished by their regard for the fourth commandment, —since this is the sign of His creative power and the witness to His claim upon man's reverence and homage. The worshipers of the beast will be distinguished by their efforts to tear down the Creator's memorial, to exalt the institution of Rome and resort to the power of the state to compel the observance of Sunday as “the Lord's day.”
Sunday was never a sacred day or considered the Lords day. The Bible points to the seventh day, and not to the first, as the Lord's day. Christ said, “The Son of man is Lord also of the Sabbath.” The fourth commandment declares “The seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord.” And by the prophet Isaiah the Lord designates it “My holy day.” Mark 2:28; Isaiah 58:13.
These campaigns to keep Sunday sacred has already begun and will continue to increase as God separates the sheep from the goats. In the Island of Barbados, the Prime Minister declared that as of March 1st, 2021, Sundays will be a day of rest. Supermarkets, hardware stores, clothing stores and gyms will be closed on Sundays.
God already gave us a day of rest, why not use that day as the day of rest? Exodus 20:8-11. There will be many more announcements to keep Sunday sacred. God said to keep Saturday Holy not Sunday. Who will you obey?

In Everything Give Thanks
1 Thessalonians 5:18
Sing along with this song and give God thanks for all that He has done.

There is a connection between holiness and thankfulness. It's easy for us to complain. Our hearts can be more illuminated when we take time to give thanks. It helps prepare us for the return of Christ.

Mental Health
1 Peter 1:13
The condition of the mind affects the health of the physical system. If the mind is free and happy, conscious of right-doing, and a sense of satisfaction which causes happiness to others, it will create a cheerfulness that will react upon the whole system, causing a freer circulation of the blood, and a toning up of the entire body. The blessing of God is a healing power, and those who are abundant in benefiting others will realize that wondrous blessing in both heart and life.
However, this sinful and devil filled world in which we live, we should consider the fact that we work with some demons. Whose sole purpose is to make you unhappy. These kind of people are there to make your life a living hell. When you are in their presence, the way they talk to you, the things that they do personally affects you physically, mentally, and spiritually. Your blood pressure goes up, your heart begins to beat faster than it normally should, and you begin to think some very ungodly things. If this is you, today, I want to sincerely remind you that this is not healthy. And if you continue to work there you must heed the advice of the apostle Peter.
Peter said “Gird up the loins of your mind”, we must guard and control our thoughts. Do not let these people have so much control of your mind where their very presence has a negative effect on you. It is in times like these we are to fix our thoughts on Jesus and don’t dwell on the existence of that evil co-worker. Your mental health is just as important as your physical health – guard it.
Mark of the Beast Monday
The Beast from the Earth
Revelation 13:11-18
Both the appearance of this beast and the manner of its rise indicate that the nation which it represents is unlike those presented under the preceding symbols. The great kingdoms that have ruled the world were presented to the prophet Daniel as beasts of prey, rising when “the four winds of the heaven strove upon the great sea.” Daniel 7:2. Winds are a symbol of strife. The four winds of heaven striving upon the great sea represent the terrible scenes of conquest and revolution by which kingdoms have attained to power.
But the beast with lamblike horns was seen “coming up out of the earth.” Instead of overthrowing other powers to establish itself, the nation thus represented must arise in territory previously unoccupied and grow up gradually and peacefully. It could not, then, arise among the crowded and struggling nationalities of the Old World—that turbulent sea of “peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.” It must be sought in the Western Continent. What nation of the New World was in 1798 rising into power, giving promise of strength and greatness, and attracting the attention of the world? One nation, and only one, meets the specifications of this prophecy; it points unmistakably to the United States of America.
The beast was seen “coming up out of the earth;” and, according to the translators, the word here rendered “coming up” literally signifies “to grow or spring up as a plant.” And, as we have seen, the nation must arise in territory previously unoccupied.
The lamblike horns indicate youth, innocence, and gentleness, fitly representing the character of the United States when presented to the prophet as “coming up” in 1798. Republicanism and Protestantism became the fundamental principles of the nation. These principles are the secret of its power and prosperity.
Prophecy Friday
Prophecy based on Daniel and Revelation is being fulfilled, during this time we need to find peace in the midst of the storm.
Peace with God
There is so much turmoil, political unrest, corruption, and just plain evil in the world today that you will often hear people say, “The whole world has gone mad!” All of this madness though has caused many to ask themselves, “Is there a God?” Even people who have claimed to be atheist or agnostic are now starting to question the possibility that God really does exist. The COVID pandemic has added to the anxiety. When people are facing impending death or even the risk or possibility of their life being cut short, it causes inward reflection and a deeper desire to be right with God. There’s only one way to have the blessed assurance that all is at peace with your Lord and Savior and that is to completely surrender your life to Him. Ask Jesus to forgive you for your sins and bring to your mind any past sins so that you can make them right. Then pray for a clean heart and a right spirit and ask God to live within you. When you do that, you won’t have to “wonder” if things are good with God, you will “know” beyond a shadow of a doubt because your heart will be filled with joy and peace such as you have never known. Mark of the Beast Monday
Mark vs Seal
Revelation 13:16, 17
And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
Revelation 7:2, 3
And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea,
Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.
The terms mark and seal are used interchangeably in the Scriptures. Hence, the mark of the beast is his sign, seal, or token; and the seal of God is His mark or sign. These are not literal marks in the flesh, of course, but religious institutions or observances which will serve as marks of distinction between the worshipers of the beast and the worshipers of the true and living God; and they are institutions that stand, as rivals, directly opposed to each other.
The two opposing marks are to be received in the forehead, which is a symbol of the mind and affections, since the forehead is the seat of the intellectual faculties. The seal of God can be received nowhere else. He accepts of no obedience but that which is from the heart. But the beast seems to be more accommodating. If you do not choose his mark in the forehead, you may receive it in your right hand. If you do not believe and love his institutions, you may obey them outwardly-carry out his requirements with your right hand, which is a symbol of outward actions. The Devil does not care for sincerity of heart in his service. If he can hire us to fall down and worship him, or in any way cause us to disobey God, his object, which is our ruin, is accomplished.

Be in Good Health
3 John 1:1-2
What is fame or fortune if you don’t have good health? John in writing to Gaius not only wished that he prospered, but with prosperity take care of himself – be in health. Taking care of yourself includes getting enough sleep, practicing a healthy diet with quality food, an exercise. Jesus got His steps in everyday while He was here with us, He walked everywhere. There is no exercise that can take the place of walking. By it the circulation of the blood is greatly improved. Walking, in all cases where it is possible, is the best remedy for diseased bodies, because in this exercise all of the organs of the body are brought into use. When was the last time you took a walk? Why not take one today and start on the road to being in good health.
Mark of the Beast Monday
The Sea Beast
Revelation 13:1-10
In chapter 13 (verses 1-10) describes a beast coming up out of the sea, “like unto a leopard,” to which the dragon gave “his power, and his seat, and great authority.” This symbol, as most Protestants have believed, represents the papacy, which succeeded to the power and seat and authority once held by the ancient Roman empire.
“Power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.” And, says the prophet, “I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death.” “He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword.” The forty and two months are the same as the “time and times and the dividing of time,” three and a half years, or 1260 days, of Daniel 7 - the time during which the papal power was to oppress God’s people. This period began with the supremacy of the papacy, A.D. 538, and terminated in 1798. At that time the pope was made captive by the French army, the papal power received its deadly wound, and the prediction was fulfilled, “He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity.”
What have you done with the power that God has given you? We all have some kind of power. Power does not always have to be in the form of strength and might, it can be in gentle touch, a soft tone of voice, or in your influence. Use your God given power for good and not evil.
Tell-the-Truth Thursday
We are The Lord's Agents and need to profess and tell the truth to a dying world.
Jeremiah 5:14 says, ‘Wherefore thus saith the LORD God of hosts, Because ye speak this word, behold, I will make my words in thy mouth fire, and this people wood, and it shall devour them’.
We live in a world where ‘fake news’ is rampant. Richard Salant, (1914-1993), former President of CBS News once said “Our job is to give people not what they want, but what we decide they ought to have.” Men and women are wandering in the mist and fog of error. They want to know what is truth. As Christians we need to speak truth to the world. Tell them, not in high-flown language, but with the simplicity of the children of God.— May your prayer be just as Jesus prayed in John 17:17 “Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.”
Thankful Tuesday
“In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” 1 Thessalonians 5:18. This command is an assurance that even the things which appear to be against us will work for our good. God would not bid us be thankful for that which would do us harm.
Mark of the Beast Monday
The Dragon
Revelation 13
As we continue to study the Mark of the Beast, we have talked about the land beast, the sea beast, and today I want to talk about the dragon. I think we all know who the dragon is. Revelation 20:2.
Revelation 13:2 tells us that the beast which John saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. But this beast got wounded and was healed. And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast.
To give something you must first possess it. This power that the dragon possessed and gave to the sea beast is one of the dragon’s greatest powers. He is a master deceiver. He deceived Eve and he will deceive the world. Genesis 3; Revelation 12:9.
The sea beast stepped on the scene, received power from the dragon, carried out the dragon’s agenda, was wounded, but was then healed. My question to you is what you think the sea beast will do when its health is fully restored? There is only one answer, it will carry out its first work. Deceiving people into worshipping the beast. Those who are worshipping God will be sealed. But those who are worshipping the dragon will honor the mark of his power. Revelation 7:2-3, 9-11.
Who are you worshipping? The devil is a great deceiver. My prayer is that you look at the things that defines worshipping God and make sure you are not worshipping the devil. I want you to receive God’s seal and avoid the mark of the beast.

Never a Reason to Hate
So much of the turmoil, unrest, and turbulence in the world today originates from just one thing - hate! Just because someone thinks or believes differently than you do is not a reason to hate. Neither is there an excuse for hatred because of skin color, financial status, level of education, or any other reason. There is simply never a good reason for hate, and those who allow such ugliness to creep into their hearts are miserable people. This includes those who claim to be followers of Christ because Jesus and hate cannot live in the same heart! 1 John 3:15 tells us, “Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.” Wow! God calls hating someone “murder,” and anyone who is a murderer won’t be allowed into heaven! So how do you get rid of hatred? Martin Luther King, Jr. once said, “Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.” When Jesus was here on earth, He set a wonderful example of how to treat others, and that was with love and respect! Throughout Scripture, the message is clear and repeated over and over again: “love . . . love . . . love!” Ask God to remove any hatred in your heart and replace it with an extra measure of His love . . . for your salvation depends on it. Thankful Tuesday
Protecting Angels
Psalm 91:11
We do not recount God's mercies often enough. By our failure to express gratitude we are dishonoring our Maker. His angels, thousands upon thousands and ten thousand times ten thousand, are commissioned to minister to those who shall be heirs of salvation. They guard us against evil and press back the powers of darkness, so that we are not destroyed. Why do we not value God's watch care?
If Satan had his way and carried out his designs, destruction would be seen on every hand. Why do we not remember that we are mercifully shielded from peril? Have we not reason to be thankful every moment, thankful even when there are apparent difficulties in our pathway?
We shall never know what dangers, seen and unseen, we have been delivered from through the interposition of the angels until we shall see in the light of eternity the providences of God. Then we shall better understand what God has done for us all the days of our life. We shall know then that the whole heavenly family watched to see our course of action from day to day. Stop right now whatever it is you are doing and give God some thanks on this Thankful Tuesday!

The desire of God for every human being is expressed in the words, “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” God is the one who “forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with loving-kindness and tender mercies.” 3 John 2. Psalms 103:3, 4
