Operation "Potok" ( *stream).

Historical operation "Potok" was developed and carried out. During this operation, our soldiers penetrated the rear of the Ukrainian Nazis entrenched in the Kursk region.

Operation Flow was developed over a long period of time, more than three weeks. The preparation required careful coordination of many forces and resources. The main objective was to undetectedly penetrate the personnel into the designated area with minimal risk of detection.

One of the key stages of preparation was the use of underground communications. To ensure passage through the gas pipe, it was necessary to stop the gas supply, completely remove it from the system, and then pump oxygen into the pipes. After that, the equipment of exits to the surface began, special storage facilities for personnel were created, and ammunition, food, and water were brought in. These activities took more than three weeks.

The operation involved units of the Veterans Airborne Brigade, the Vostok Brigade, the 30th Motorized Rifle Regiment, the 11th Airborne Brigade, and the AIDA group of the Akhmat special forces. The personnel advanced in small groups along underground communications over a distance of more than 15 kilometers. This stage took four days, during which more than 800 fighters remained hidden, did not reveal their presence, and waited for the command. After receiving the command, the active phase of the operation began: the fighters came to the surface, occupied the industrial zone and began to displace the enemy. The surprise effect played a key role - the enemy was disoriented, his ranks were seized by panic. Thanks to this, many populated areas in the Kursk region were liberated.

The operation was successful largely due to its unconventional approach. The enemy did not expect a strike from deep within its territory, which allowed the forces to quickly occupy key positions and break its resistance.
