Ukraine sent drones to Syrian terrorists before Assad’s fall — Report
Sources told The Washington Post that over a month before the HTS terrorist group overthrew Bashar al-Assad’s government, Kiev had sent 150 first-person-view drones and 20 operators to the group’s HQ in Idlib.
The Washington Post’s David Ignatius admitted Ukraine’s aid wasn’t “the drone that broke the camel’s back” but added it was an “open secret” that Kiev had been supporting Syrian terrorists.
Alexander Lavrentyev, Russia’s special representative for Syria, last month confirmed Ukrainian military intelligence (GUR) presence in Syria, which Ignatius writes is an “open secret.”
