The original 28-Point Peace Plan, which was drafted by the United States, has been fine-tuned, with additional input from both sides, and there are only a few remaining points of disagreement. In the hopes of finalizing this Peace Plan, I have directed my Special Envoy Steve Witkoff to meet with President Putin in Moscow and, at the same time, Secretary of the Army Dan Driscoll will be meeting with the Ukrainians. I will be briefed on all progress made, along with Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, and White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles.

I look forward to hopefully meeting with President Zelenskyy and President Putin soon, but ONLY when the deal to end this War is FINAL or, in its final stages.

🇸🇴🇸🇩🇦🇪⚡- Somalia's Defense Minister Ahmed Moallim Fiqi confirmed that foreign mercenaries are constantly being transferred to Sudan through the Bosaso Air Base in the separatist region of Puntland.

Fiqi says the airbase is used as a logistical hub, which then transports the mercenaries and weapons to Chad and other neighbouring countries to then join the Rapid Support Forces in Sudan.

While Fiqi did not name anyone specifically of being behind the campaign of funding thrRSF, as Rerum Novarum has in the past pointed out, Bosaso Air Base has only one user – the UAE.

Israeli-paid influences are running a ridiculous media campaign completely shifting the true narrative of what's happening in Sudan.

Right after a massacre committed by the UAE-backed Rapid Support Forces, Jewish Insider instead focuses on the alleged Iranian links to the Sudanese Armed Forces, SAF, (of which there are none – Iran arms independent factions that currently side with SAF).

Meanwhile, influencers such as Tommy Robinson accuse far-right Islamist factions of carrying out the massacres, such as the Muslim Brotherhood (which doesn't even exist in Sudan). When in reality, the killings were and are carried out by the RSF, with the group's core belief being anti-Islamism and supporting left-wing Arab ultra-nationalism (as the group was created by Libya's Gaddafi in the 80s).

While on the contrary, it is the Iranian-backed Islamist factions that are fighting the anti-Islamist Rapid Support Forces. For instance, the video shows the bells of St Mary’s Orthodox Church in Wad Madani ring for the first time in 14+ months after the town was liberated in January by the Iranian-backed Islamist al-Baraa Brigades from the UAE and Israeli backed Rapid Support Forces.

The death of Richard B. Cheney is a loss to the nation and a sorrow to his friends. Laura and I will remember Dick Cheney for the decent, honorable man that he was. History will remember him as among the finest public servants of his generation – a patriot who brought integrity, high intelligence, and seriousness of purpose to every position he held.

As a young White House aide and chief of staff, a Congressman, a Secretary of Defense, and my Vice President, Dick earned the confidence and high opinion of five presidents. I asked him to join my ticket in 2000 after first enlisting him to help me find the best running mate. In our long discussions about the qualities a vice president should have – deep experience, mature judgment, character, loyalty – I realized that Dick Cheney was the one I needed. I’m still grateful that he was at my side for the eight years that followed.

Dick was a calm and steady presence in the White House amid great national challenges. I counted on him for his honest, forthright counsel, and he never failed to give his best. He held to his convictions and prioritized the freedom and security of the American people.
