#XAUUSD within a strong bullish trend is forming a consolidation in the 2018 - 2010 range. Lower volatility is forming and several candlestick indications are forming that price may test support before further distribution.

On D1 we can see that the leading asset, in our case it is the DXY, is testing support, which may trigger a correction to local resistance, which will have a corresponding effect on the slave asset (gold may also start a correction within this range).

The trend is bullish, moving averages and key levels support this direction, there is no sense to talk about any medium-term and long-term sales now.
The market within the consolidation will form a lot of opportunities to gather as much liquidity as possible before further movement in one or another direction. Consequently, border touches, false breakdowns and long shadows can be formed relative to the 2018-2010 range (consolidation). But this is not the only scenario.
A breakdown is possible with a quick retest with reduced volatility. In the long term, we should wait for a breakout of resistance.

#USDJPY is testing resistance (old support) on the background of correction and trend change and is apparently preparing for further decline, following the DXY, which is also weakening on the background of fundamental policy.

Gold sits comfortably above all three major moving averages. Interest rates, however, may lead to some pain for the precious metal.

Gold prices #XAUUSD 👑 retreated on Wednesday after bouncing off the same inflection point for the second time. The precious metal advanced to $2,006, hitting a double top with its previous peak in late October. Now, prices have moved away from that level and bears appear ready to go on the offensive.

Interest rates, a powerful tool used to bring inflation down, are staying higher for longer. That was the message communicated from Fed officials at their latest rate-setting meeting. What does it mean for gold? The dollar’s no-risk yield stays intact at least for now with no planned interest-rate cuts.

The Bank of England buoyed the currency higher after Governor Bailey dampened hopes of rate cuts in the near future.

The #GBPUSD 🇬🇧🇺🇸 pair advanced moderately in Friday’s early deals, peeking over the $1.2570 level for the first time in 10 weeks. The upbeat mood was largely fueled by the Bank of England’s interest-rate stance, telegraphed earlier this week. The pound moved higher against other players on the forex board.

Technically, sterling bulls have a reason to be thankful with the UK currency emerging above the mid-term 100-day moving average. The 50-day and the 200-day lines are already under. Any technical analysis book will tell you this means that a positive trend may be shaping up. May be = DYOR

#XAUUSD is standing still on Thursday, which we were prepared for. The DXY opens with a subsequent decline on Friday, which gives bullish hopes for GOLD to strengthen

On the local timeframe, the prolonged consolidation is forming a symmetrical triangle, but as a strong support area is forming below the pattern and the price is consolidating above the key liquidity zones, the market may try to realize a bullish scenario. This will be facilitated by a break of the triangle resistance, in which case our target will be 2005 and 2010.
Also, due to the fact that the price did not test the liquidity area below 1993, 1984, we have a chance to start another correction before further growth.

On D1 gold is in a range and since support was tested earlier, resistance is still our prospect. The target is the upper boundary of the range - the area of 2010.

Key support: 1993-1992, 1990, 1984
Key resistance: 1998, 2005, 2010

I expect a break of the pattern resistance with further growth to these targets, but since a large liquidity area was formed below the support, the market may test this area before further growth.

Changpeng Zhao, the founder of Binance, the world’s biggest crypto exchange, pleaded guilty to a number of wrongdoings, including violating US anti-money-laundering laws. He has already stepped down from the chief executive role

• Binance pleaded guilty as well and will pay a total of $4.3bn in fines. The settlement was more or less the only thing that saved the topsy-turvy industry from suffering a sharp selloff. According to the deal, Binance will continue to operate and provide services to global users, including the US market

• Against that backdrop, Bitcoin held ground near $36,500 after recovering from a brief dip near $35,500. “I made mistakes,” said Zhao in his contrite message on X. Also, Forbes did it again – Zhao has joined other high-profile fraudsters featured on a Forbes cover, including the “next Warren Buffett” Sam Bankman-Fried, and the “next Steve Jobs” Elizabeth Holmes
