In my previous job I used to use Jira for issue tracking and to put it gently I hated it, really it was very slow and it would get stuck every day. I hated it when I had to submit my final comments for the day and sign off but Jira would take so long to get unstuck.

Could you imagine working on a website for the recent US White House Administration? I couldn’t until just now. There are agencies that work with this segment of customers and 10up is one of them.
I was regularly searching for a new software testing job for myself when I found 10up’s QA position. They are remote and they are hiring across the US, Europe and sometimes in India.
By posting this kind of opportunities I’d like to show you that it is possible to work on cool products and for cool companies regardless of your location. Even if it is via a contracting agency, you are still getting your hands on the product and their product on your resume.
I myself worked on a product that receive Gartner’s Magic Quadrant nomination several times and that was via a contracting agency. Contracting agencies can be good trampolines to jump start your remote career with.

As I started applying for jobs in crypto industry, I started getting inquiries from other crypto companies to share their jobs in my channel. So today is for Guardarian. They see their mission as driving cryptocurrency adoption, providing services that make using crypto simple and convenient.
I’m very cautious when posting jobs in the crypto industry. So I dared to interrogate their representative about the terms and work ethics. They are willing to provide a fair pay, official employment with relocation to Tallinn, Estonia or fully remote. They are willing to pay either in fiat or crypto. The company is profitable and not yet funded by outside investors.
Although they sound legit to me I have to warn you to double check the terms of the contract for yourself and be very cautious when applying, interviewing and committing to anything with any companies from this channel as I don’t get to read the contracts. Consult with your lawyer if necessary on any terms that don’t make sense to you.

Are you into sports? I’m an amateur skier and I’ve just got back from a week-long ski training in Kirovks, Russia. We used Telegram chat to manage our team. So I thought there should be some specific apps for sports team management. And guess what? They indeed exist.
So today is for TeamSnap. They are building apps for organizing sports teams. Scheduling, chats, availability, reminders. They niche down to youth sports in the US and I remember how big school and college sports are in the US. When I studied at River Forest High in Indiana I used to do Cheerleading for football and basketball teams the entire year so I can understand how needed this product is.
