I'm new to WoW and today I bought a new gun from the auction. It's a much better gun than what I had and was excited to use it but when I went to equip it, I got a pop up saying "equipping this will bind it to you" does this mean I just won't be able to uequip the gun? And if so, is there any way to get it removed. I don't want to equip the gun to find out for myself, because I'm afraid I might not be able to remove it lol. Sorry if this is a dumb question. I tried googling this but didn't get any answers. I don't play MMO's everything is really different than any games I've played. Thank you

Theory “Pink Pony Club” by Chappell Roan is actually about World of Warcraft Paladins
Okay hear me out. I was listening to Pink Pony Club by Chappell Roan and realized: this song isn’t about a girl wanting to be a dancer in West Hollywood. No. It’s 100% about being a Paladin in World of Warcraft. See below:
“I heard that there's a special place / Where boys and girls can all be queens every single day”
→ She’s talking about the Argent Tournament grounds. Gender? Faction? Irrelevant. You're a champion of the Light, baby. Plate-wearing, bubble-healing royalty.
“Wear a crown, buy a gown / Dance around, sing their hearts out”
→ That’s your transmog set and emotes. Every Paladin logs in and immediately /dances on their Charger mount while humming the hymn of holy justice.
Maybe I’ll meet a hot guy / Dressed up like a cowboy / Riding his pink horse through the night”
→ That’s a Blood Elf Ret Paladin on the Swift Lovebird or, dare I say, the Big Love Rocket. Yes, he’s shirtless. Yes, his sword is bigger than your lore.
“I'm gonna keep on dancing at the Pink Pony Club”
→ The Pink Pony Club = Light’s Hope Chapel after midnight. A secret disco run by ex-Scarlet Crusaders. DJ Lightbringer on the turntables. Everyone's got wings and judgment glyphs.

→ “LA” is Light’s Abbey, an elite holy nightclub deep in the Eastern Plaguelands where only max-level Paladins with a 10/10 glam rating are allowed in. Retribution only. No Holy specs allowed—this is a DPS floor.
“Mom, I'm moving to the Pink Pony Club”
→ Her Druid mom doesn’t understand. “Why don’t you heal in dungeons like your cousin?” NO. She chose the way of the Light and Glitter.
So yeah. Not a pop anthem. This is high Paladin lore disguised as a synth banger.
The truth is out there. And it’s glowing with Holy Light.

Warrior buff IS NOT physical
It's insane how with the rise of physical comps and all that jazz, even since DF I've been seeing people confuse warrior buff and monk buff.
Warrior buff increases attack power. it buffs ALL MELEE SPECS and Hunters. This includes all tanks, includes enhancement shamans, demon hunters and death knights. It's a straight up a 5% dps increase because it directly increases the source of your damage.
Monk debuff increases physical damage taken. For specs like enha, dks and (most) tanks this isn't a huge deal and honestly they'd rather get the dh buff in comparison.
Edit: literally just sim your character with and without battle shout. So far my stormbringer shaman, ret pally and warrior all gained almost exactly 5% dps with the buff on. Both in ST and AOE.

If target caps are such a problem, how is the physical comp group doing 20s?
With an outlaw and a fury warrior, which this sub led me to believe was doing tank damage and the most useless thing in dungeons.
This is a genuine question. They seem to be pretty successful with their comp, and doing the highest keys you can do in this game. Maybe ion is right that a lot of issues players see are just based on feelings and not actual performance? And players create their own problems by excluding certain specs/classes and trying to copy one specific comp they see.
I've also noticed some streamer groups having no problems inviting someone wanting to play feral or aug due to resilient keys. Did no depletion have any effect on key diversity?

Revisited Visions - weapon vendors more useless than the timegating
For once I have to vent as well.
So there are three weapon vendors in this new event. - Veteran, Champion and Heroic level. Veteran unlocks if you kill all 5 bosses in one run, Champion all 5 with one mask, and Heroic if you beat it with all 5 masks active. By the time you unlock them, the stuff they sell is pretty much useless. (unless of course you're an elite pro gamer, which I am not.). This didn't feel too odd - after all, most catch up gear is not intended for the main class, but your alts, right?
After managing my first run with 5 bosses and 1 mask I thought "Champion vendor unlocked, at least it will be easier on my other characters now, yay!".
Until I realized: the unlock is NOT ACCOUNT WIDE. It's a character unlock.
Why? What the FLIP is the point of those vendors then? They might as well just sell pure transmogs without any stats at that moment.
With time gate you can at least look forward to something useful later on. But these vendors are really just so absurdly pointless it's a slap in the face.

I met my girlfriend on Wow (it was a matter of one second)
It was in May 2019 I was playing WoW when I was 12 years old, and I decided to go farm the al'ar mount, my character was in goldshire and I took the fly to go to stormwind but took it at the same time as someone, we had clicked at exactly the same time on the button to take the fly which meant that our characters were stuck during the griffon trip.
So I whispered a "Hello" and we started talking and then we often played together, for several years that followed we were very good friends and we talked to each other about our worries, our life and for a while I did not know her real age and I saw her as a big sister.
Until one day, in January 2024, when she told me her real age and I realized that we were only 2 weeks apart in age and that we even lived in the same region, in June 2024 we decided to see each other for the first time and I had started to fall in love at first sight...
However I thought I had no chance with a girl like that and I saw her as way too perfect for me and I thought it was impossible for her to love a guy like me..
During the month of September 2024, we talked a lot and I liked her a lot and while I was playing red dead redemption 2, one evening I decided to confess my feelings to her…
She didn't decline and even said that she might have feelings.
In October we didn't see each other at all, but that's when things really started and she also started to fall in love.
Then in november we decide to ask our parents so she can come sleep at my house as "friends" except that's when we started to really be close as lovers and love each other, it was the first time I felt that and slept with a girl for the first time.
now we are months later and we love each other even more than at the beginning, I really love her a lot and I thank wow for putting a fly in goldshire.
