Unless u turn off csm support from bios
Then it needs external monitor like a tv

I was actually planning to do this last year but I ended up doing it on my desktop instead (which I since got Tahoe running on perfectly), so instead I did it this year!
Gonna use this on a trip coming up very soon lol, AM loseless works as well and performance is decent, there are artifacts sometimes but they can easily be gotten rid of. Got AirportItlwm, BT and audio all working so pretty satisfied, however I didn't manage to get hibernate working properly yet sadly.

Sonoma in Ryzen 7 2700u
I was able to install macOS Sonoma on my HP EliteBook 745 G5 with a Ryzen 7 2700U. Everything works fine except the emulator — it doesn't run because Intel VT-x is unavailable due to the AMD CPU. I really need to run a mobile emulator (Android or iOS). Does anyone have a solution?

Crippled Boot Screen?
the error.
Why am I getting this "crippled" boot screen and this message? I am getting this when I am in the MacOS Installer, after you run the "Install MacOS" app, and it restarts you to continue on "MacOS Installer." Why does this happen and how to fix it? I thought it was an SMBIOS issue and actually noticed that I did write the wrong product information in the plist, but that didn't solve the issue?

im writing a program that will serve as a large storage container on my m4 pro macbook
im then buying an old shitty intel based pc, i want to install macOS on it, will it work because all im wanting to do is connect multiple drives via usb and sata and then use them to be able to store files to the drives remotely
the hackintosh will be a webserver which also hosts my backend.

Two screen on High Sierra with GTX 760Ti
Hello everyone, back again with my 3rd hackintosh, this time being my gaming and music production computer, as i only have a GTX 750Ti, i'm only able to use High Sierra, being said i managed to get the Web Drivers working but there is a catch, only one of my screen is working, if i plug the other, i would just get a black screen and both of my screens would turn off, any idea on how can i cover this issue to get the other one working ? Everything else works

EFI Request for Ventura
Hi,
I have a Lenovo Yoga 530-14IKB currently running Big Sur with OpenCore, using an EFI I found online.
Now I’d like to upgrade to macOS Ventura.
Does anyone have a working EFI ready for Ventura on this model, with the following components supported?

I have no idea what im doing
i'm attempting to hackintosh on an old computer of mine once again ^((because i lost in the first round of a smash bros mii tournament)) but i have absolutely 0 clue what im doing, I am currently running Linux Mint on it (and i have dual booted it with windows xp)
I tried following Dortania's opencore install guide but once i got to the kext plist stuff i had absolutely no clue what i was doing and could not get it right and never even booted to the setup..
unfortunately i am limited in how many usbs i have and in turn ended up later overwriting this attempt with a linux mint installer once i ended up accidentally messing up my linux mint install by installing windows xp.
This is the specs i gathered of the computer when attempting this initially and i'd love to have someone help guide me through this (and if u wanna do it more live i do have a discord, but i must warn i can be pretty stupid at times)

Stuck on OpenCore Boot Picker - Keyboard Not Working on HP ProBook 650 G2
Hi everyone,
I'm trying to install macOS Sonoma on my HP ProBook 650 G2 using OpenCore, but I get stuck at the OpenCore boot picker screen. My keyboard doesn’t respond at all, so I can’t select anything, and the system just freezes on that screen.
Here’s what I’ve already tried:
* USB Legacy Support enabled in BIOS
* Using a wired USB keyboard
* Injected `USBInjectAll.kext` in EFI
* Added `VoodooPS2Controller.kext` and its plugins (just in case)
* All necessary UEFI drivers like `UsbKbDxe.efi`, `OpenHfsPlus.efi`, and `OpenRuntime.efi` are in place
* OpenCore config is up to date with debug mode enabled
* Tested with and without VoodooPS2Controller.kext but no difference
Despite all that, the keyboard doesn’t work in the picker, and I’m stuck on the OpenCore screen.
Has anyone faced this on the HP ProBook 650 G2? Any tips on BIOS USB settings or USB patches in OpenCore that might help?
Would really appreciate any advice!

Hackintosh keeps restarting on installer (repost for Punctuation)
So, I decided to ditch the Opencore Simplify and use the Dortania guide again. Last time I made a Hackintosh was during Ventura, and I failed (Edhawk fixed it for me). Then I upgraded to Sonoma and had Wi-Fi problems but was able to fix them. Then I had iServices problems, got fed up, so I decided to do a clean install (worst thing I decided to do).
After multiple tries of making failed EFIs, I gave up for more than a year—and then here we are. Decided to make a new Hackintosh on the same device. I do have the same PC, and I remembered I had ready BIOS settings for my Hack, so I gave it another chance with this new EasyTosh thing—that failed miserably .
Wiped the SSD and went back to my Windows. With multiple trial and errors, I got to the installer of Sonoma and succeeded. Then, on the macOS installer part, I got confused: should I boot my USB or SSD?
I boot the USB drive. I boot macOS installer. It gives me the Apple logo and tells me “29 min remaining.”
Around 15 minutes in, it restarts.
I go in again—it restarts (after the kernel screen, not even booting into the Apple logo screen and progress bar).
Try again—it restarts.
So I say, maybe I should launch from the SSD. Same thing: I load macOS installer—it restarts.
So I tell myself, last time I was using Edhawk’s EFI with Sonoma perfectly; let me do that. I change my PlatformInfo to my new one after I grab the old EFI. Just change the AirportItlwm.kext to the new Sonoma one. Do a snapshot and save. Restart.
Same thing with both SSD and USB.
What should I do ? maaaaaaan im giving up Help!

Displayport to hdmi adaptor works only for early boot stages
I am hackintoshing a lenovo m700 tiny that has 2 displayport only. Unfortunately all of my monitors have hdmi, but I had this cheap adaptor that made me go through installation.
However I'm now stuck because my Monterey just throws up a black screen in mid boot.
I've read something about the problem being mainly the use of a passive adaptor, but I also have read something about making the system recognize the port as hdmi as alternative. Before buying another cable, I'd try a settings based solution. Could you please help me with this? I can probably borrow a DP monitor for trying this

Essentially, I followed the dortania OpenCore Guide to create the usb with a little bit of help from the discord server. Two major problems was in order to disable GPU acceleration I had to use the boot arg -amd_no_gpu_accel, and since the X79 chipset on the ASUS motherboard came with two EHCI controllers, I needed the SSDT-HPET and the patches to the plist to make sure there were no conflicting IRQ's.\\
What works: Hardware acceleration is on due to the dyld cache, bluetooth connectivity is working well, Handoff currently works. Airplay also works.
What doesn't work: Wifi, since I'm using a Broadcom card, I still have not added the necessary kexts and patches yet, planning on do so sometime soon. Therefore Airdrop does not work.

How can I solve this issue?
I'm building a Hackintosh for the first time and it's been quite challenging. I think I've configured everything correctly so far, but I'm having a problem. When I boot from the USB stick with CSM enabled, OpenCore loads but crashes immediately. When I disable CSM, nothing happens. Could my GPU be the problem? I'm using a RX 580 2048SP and I even updated it with a Sapphire VBIOS, but could it still be causing a conflict? After that I can't get back to Windows, my keyboard doesn't work and only comes back after I reset the BIOS, could it be a problem with USB recognition? I downloaded the USBInjectAll kext but I don't know if I configured it correctly.

🧵 Wi-Fi incompatibility on ThinkPad T14 Gen 1 (Ryzen 7, AX201) Sonoma
I'm running a Hackintosh setup on a Lenovo ThinkPad T14 Gen 1 (Ryzen 7 4750U) and have most things working — except for Wi-Fi, which has been a huge pain.
The laptop comes with an Intel AX201 wireless card, and I've tried just about everything with OpenIntelWireless (itlwm.kext, AirportItlwm.kext, HeliPort, etc.), but I can't get it to work properly.
🔧 What I've tried:
Using itlwm.kext + HeliPort → HeliPort shows "itlwm is not running"
Verified that Lilu.kext is loaded
Downloaded the correct variant of itlwm.kext for my macOS version (Sonoma)
Tried AirportItlwm.kext, but no Wi-Fi icon or networks show up
Confirmed kexts are properly listed in config.plist and injected via OpenCore
❓ My questions:
Has anyone gotten AX201 working on macOS with this laptop (or similar Ryzen laptops)?
Is this Wi-Fi card just incompatible with macOS no matter what?

I want to do a fresh Hackintosh install and I’d really appreciate someone helping me out step by step, since I’m not super experienced and I don’t want to mess things up again.
Last time I tried following a YouTube guide, macOS kept detecting only 3 MB of VRAM on my iGPU (I have the Intel UHD 630), and I couldn’t fix it no matter what I did.
