Problem With Trying to Boot
It seems that every time I try and boot, I get this specific error, and it doesn't even show me my boot menu. "OC: Configuration requires vault but no vault provided!" Does anyone know why this error is caused?

* Core i7-9750H
* UHD630 + GTX1650
* 2x 32GB DDR4 Ram
* 512GB NVMe SSD internal (external drive possible)
* FHD 1080P IPS Screen
* Intel Killer AX1650x Wlan/BT Card
* Realtek298 AudioChipset (?)
* 97Wh Battery
* Bios V1.31.0
**Not working / buggy / not tested:**
* GTX1650 DGPU (no drivers, not verified if properly fully disabled)
* 32Bit apps (last supported in Mojave), AppleSilicon apps (only on M1 and up Macs)
* HDMI/DP Out: hotplug works – hot-unplug keeps the external screen as a “ghost” in the display overview – fix: close Laptop lid and open again (display overview refreshes and is back to normal again) – Audio over HDMI/DP doesn’t work (hotplug/coldplug) – tested with HDMI Out and on USB-C Dock (Dell WD19) > theoretically UHD630 should support 3 displays from the list simultaneously: 1x XPS-internal, 1x HDMI, 2x over USB-C
* Thunderbolt capabilities not tested (turned off) - someone suggested to disable TB3 in bios for better battery life
* Waiting for the system to go to sleep by itself (after long idle, no interaction) seems to crash the system. Not further investigated
* Fingerprintreader not tested (most likely wont work)
* Continuity features like AirDrop don’t work (AirPlay works though) Alternatives: Dell DW1830 (needs some kext) Fenvi AC1200 (maybe needs Bluetooth port mapping?, natively until Ventura according to OpenIntelWireless)
**Some things that work:**
* Full system power on battery (allows 50W on CPU)
* Keyboard brightness/audio/.... shortcut keys
* USB Ports
* Trackpad + Gestures
* (very stable) WLan & Bluetooth (AX1650x - Airportitlwm.kext)
* SD-Card reader
* Camera
* Closing lid and opening again, loging in and out, manual sleep/unsleep, screensaver
* Built-in microphone, speakers & Audio via USB (eg to Audio DAC or Aux from WD19)
* Headphone Jack hotplug (is a little loud though)
* Battery: measured 3.5h normal WiFi use (Safari Websurfing YouTube, File Browsing, using USB Drives, using Apple Maps, …) with 70% brightness (12/17 bars), Bluetooth off, very quiet (no other tools, just default management), OEM 97Wh battery in "excellent" condition, no undervolting or IntelPowerGadget etc
I own 2 Macs and just tried this for fun haha! I will might also check out Tahoe and report if it "just works"!

After installing macOS Tahoe there is only a black screen and flickering video output
I barely got Tahoe to boot and after installing it, it boots but there's only a black screen with a cursor that keeps appearing and disappearing every 10 seconds
In the installer it didn't have graphics acceleration but there WAS video output
I have an RX 580 8gb, is there a way to fix this or not yet

Now that Intel Macs won’t get macOS 27, could there be an OCLP-like project for Apple Silicon Macs (e.g., M1) once they’re phased out?
With Apple officially dropping Intel Macs from the upcoming macOS release, it’s clear the end has come for macOS updates on Intel hardware. Given that, I’m wondering—once Apple eventually drops support for M1 Macs, do you think it would be possible (or likely) that something like OCLP could be developed to allow those M1 machines to keep running newer versions of macOS unofficially?
Would love to hear thoughts from those familiar with the technical hurdles, especially around the Secure Enclave and SIP on Apple Silicon.

Welcome, thanks for reading this post. I have been working on a kernel extension to resolve the issues people have been facing with attempting to play League of Legends on any OpenCore-used machine, this includes real Mac machines that use OpenCore for OCLP.
There had been checks added within League's macOS client, to report VAN -101 errors, or other undefined errors. This is essentially Vanguard invalidating your session and booting you off.
These checks stem from Riot attempting to not deal with "Hackintosh" because of our ability to change the SMBIOS information to circumvent HWID bans.
This kernel extension does NOT condone any cheating/scripting/reverse-engineering or modification of the League clients. Carnations Botanica is not responsible for any bans or timeouts if you are actively bypassing to cheat and cause issues for the community. This was created by a legitimate player, who purchases content consistently.
If you too, are a legitimate player who has been disallowed from League because of the usage of a hackintosh, you can now use Phantom to correct your system information to appear as a real Mac.

Phantom actively cleansing CopyKextLoadedInfo to hide 3rd party Kexts.
In-game Brawl gamemode, already around 20 minutes of playtime + launcher opened.
Main Launcher opened 20 minutes without issue.

iMessage and Facetime help
Hello everyone,
I want to use macinabox with my unraid server to make an imessage server for my android device. I got macos running no problem but I seem to be having issues with getting imessage to work. Is there any pointers anybody can give me on what they used to get imessage and factime working? I am unsure how to edit the config.plist correctly... etc Macinabox creates one for me but just to make it run, not to get the services to work.

Help White Screen After macOS Tahoe Beta 1 Installation
Hi everyone,
I'm currently attempting to install macOS Tahoe (Beta 1) on my system and have run into a persistent issue after completing the installation.
The installation process itself completes successfully, and I’m able to reach the initial macOS setup screen. However, after setup, the system hangs on a white screen with a working mouse cursor — no desktop or UI ever loads beyond that point.
I strongly suspect this is a GPU-related issue. During the installation, the UI was noticeably laggy, which suggests that GPU acceleration is not functioning. My graphics card is an XFX RX 6650 XT (Navi 23).
I’m not an expert in Hackintoshing, but I previously had macOS Sequoia running just well on this exact hardware using NootRX, and GPU acceleration worked without issue. This problem seems to be specific to Tahoe Beta 1, where both WhateverGreen and NootRX result in the same white screen behavior.
My specs:
AMD Ryzen 5 3600 (no integrated GPU)
XFX RX 6650 XT
16GB DDR4 RAM
MSI B450M-A PRO MAX motherboard
If anyone has any guidance on how to properly enable GPU acceleration for the RX 6650 XT under Tahoe Beta 1, I’d be very grateful.

Can I install the beta 1 of macOS Tahoe?
Hey guys
So, here's a question:
If I set the SMBIOS of my computer to one that supports macOS Tahoe beta 1 — but it's not a Kaby Lake Mac (because ChatGPT says Kaby Lake Macs aren't supported) — and instead I pick a Coffee Lake one...
Will macOS boot? Can I install the beta on my HP EliteBook 840 G5?
Or will OpenCore just get mad and refuse to boot until I switch back to a supported SMBIOS?
I feel like I won't be able to install it unless I have a real Mac.
