What game was so good it almost ruined the genre for you?
what game of certain genre that was so very good that you can't help but compare other games of the same genre to it and find it hard to play games that don't have most of the things in the specified game?
personally fallout 4, i loved how alive the open world is, and i loved the settlement building, the power armors and how open the world is, as in, you can go anywhere you want on the map with little to no restrictions and aren't forced a certain path to get to something, which made it that it's hard to play other open world games that lack these features, i usually notice how the NPCs are just static and how many quests/objectives are linear that it's hard for me to complete the game.

What game can you only play from time to time due to the amount of time and effort you need to invest just to get ‘that far’ before you die?
I can only play Project Zomboid sparingly for that reason.

Which video game was over too quickly?
For me, it's the game cocoon. It could have been longer.

What's a video game that started off really bad but became good?
It seems like we often get the opposite question - games that started off good/great but ended up falling apart as the length progressed. Well, I'm curious for the opposite for all you longtime or even newbie gamers out there: what's a game that you almost put down, yet, by staying with it, ended up having an enjoyable experience?

What game started well but ended poorly
Basically as the title says, what game did you think started unbelievably but finished on such an ending where you thought, what the hell was that/ what a waste of a Great story etc?

What’s a game that is just as fun to play casually for 20 minutes as it is to dive deep for two-hour binges?
I know Skyrim well enough now that I can treat it like a comfort game where I just catch butterflies and craft items or wander around for a bit and do some quick encounters, even though it’s designed to be played very deeply.
I can also find myself just doing a quick level or two in a game like OlliOlli World or Bit.Trip Runner 3 just for fun, but if I allow myself to dig in I can really play for long chunks of time and progress through it like an arcade game
Anybody else have games like these?

If you could live in a video game world, which one would it be and why?
It’s Elden Ring for me, I’m just built different. (I will 100% die in the first 20 seconds)

What's a game you once liked playing a lot but now hate even thinking about?
For me all competitive games like overwatch, csgo, valorant etc.
I realized that competitive gaming is bad for my mental and physical health and that I needed to quit so I did and I can safely say that my mental state is actually so much better now.
What about you? Why did you abandon your once beloved game?
