In case you die with BTC...
Looking for advice: I have a decent sized portfolio, mostly BTC and it's all on Ledger. My father is in his 80s and not very good with computers. I've tried to teach him how to use it but it's not happening. What should I do to prepare for the hopefully unlikely event that I die before him? I also have a sister but she's terrible with computers also and I don't trust her. I want them to have everything if the worst happens.
Thoughts?
BTW, I had a very expensive accountant help me out with my crypto taxes and thought that I could instruct my father to have him help but I didn't use that accountant this year because I stopped trading and didn't need someone at his level doing my taxes anymore.

Anyone notice the difference between now and 2021-22?
It really is something. In 2021 and even early 22 when prices were tanking, everyone I talked to, friends family and clients, wanted to buy buy buy bitcoin. And now that’s it’s come back to make new ATH’s, no one and I mean no one that I talk to is even remotely interested in that conversation. The fact that it went from 100 to 20k and then 3k to 69k… the idea that it could go from 15k to 300k just behooves these ppl. Truly it’s hard to interact with humans. Luckily my family has me and they will have the bitcoin I’ve bought for them when the time comes.
Anyone else here buy bitcoin for their close friends or family who you know will never position themselves? So when the time truly comes they will have that protection started from years ago.

Bhutan puts $539M Into Bitcoin mining - What's this mean?
Hi everyone,
So Bhutan has put a big chunk of its money, $539 million, into mining Bitcoin from July 2021 to June 2023. They want to sell what they mine to build up their money reserves. This is a lot cause their GDP is even less than $3 billion. They’re using their good, cheap electricity and cool weather, and even their central bank is all for it.
I’m wondering:
What’s good or bad about a small country like Bhutan going big into Bitcoin mining?
What does it mean when a country uses its own money and government support to get into Bitcoin mining?
Keen to hear what you guys think!

Chris Pan, the commencement speaker at Ohio State graduation, just attempted to orange pill 70,000 people
Today, May 5th, 2024, the Ohio State Univeristy had its 436th graduation ceremony. In attendance were roughly 70,000 people.
The commencement speaker, Chris Pan, decided to spend half of his speech talking about money. About how the government was irresponsibly spending, about out of control inflation, and about how many of these graduating students will not be able to afford a home on the current path the USA is going down.
He then mentioned Bitcoin. How he believed Bitcoin was greatly misunderstood. How it offers an escape from the debt cycle + protection from government incompetence. I could not believe my eyes. Has anyone ever tried to orange pill a crowd larger than 70,000 people at one time?
Chris, if you’re reading this, you’re a fucking legend mate. Hats off to you
Edit: I will post a video of his speech when it’s uploaded. Hopefully in a few hours
