BitBox users iOS scam
Hello bitcoiners.
Just a reminder that BitBox is only avaible on PC/Mac and Android.
There is actually an app called "BitBox Live Wallet" on the AppStore, but it is a fake.
When you open the app, same interface as the real one, but there is only a button "Connect Wallet". It then asks you your private key or 24 words.
TLDR: BitBox app iOS app is not yet avaible, the one you can download is a scam.
Be careful and hodl.

Please for the love of God someone tell him that people have been using gold as a store of value for 5000 years, long before we had any electronics!! That is NOT what gives gold its value.
Also tell him that jewerly is valuable BECAUSE it is made out of gold, not the other way around. We can make the exact same jewerly out of tin, aluminum, silver or titanium, but the one made out of gold will be worth more. Jewerly doesn’t make gold valuable, gold makes jewerly valuable.
People have always considered gold valuable because it is TIME-PROOF. This is what gives gold value. Time proof means:
- as a single unit (that you can own) it will not degrade, rust, rot, oxidize, disintegrate nor melt. Meaning that you can store it for 100 years into the future
- as the whole supply (total float) it will never inflate as it is scarce and extremely hard/costly to create new units of it, therefore you can keep the same AMOUNT OF TOTAL SUPPLY 100 years into the future.
This is what people find valuable, a time-proof element that nobody can mess with, and this is exactly what people see in Bitcoin.
What do you think Peter Schiff would say? I would love to be the one debating him but feel free to use these notes next time you talk to him..

Fed fears make buying opportunity.
High interest rates are not good for the economy. This makes the dollar stronger and borrowing more difficult. However, the federal government is determined to run huge deficits and print no matter the interest rate. In the long term, high interest rates expedites the dollar’s demise. If people were rational, the high interest rates would increase the value of Bitcoin in dollar terms unless you buy Bitcoin on credit; in the long run. High interest rates only compensate for Congress’s irresponsible spending. If Congress balances a budget then I’ll be concerned for Bitcoin’s efficacy . Also, if I lived in Lebonon, Argentina or Turkey then Bitcoin would be more attractive. Bitcoin’s main competition is US bonds which are losing popularity. Idk. I’m just thinking and walking my doodle.

Finally 0.2 BTC, after being wrong trading alts
Back when I was a degen trader, I priced everything in terms of dollars. And because of that I didn't realized how much bitcoin I was losing from trading. It was only after I started denominating everything in terms of bitcoin that it became clear.
With the degeneracy on Bitcoin now and the way their shitcoins are necessarily priced in terms of bitcoin, the new class of degens coming to Bitcoin are going to realize this much faster imo.
...or maybe they'll just keep being degens...!

Stop looking at the price so often. Seriously. Go outside and get some sun, enjoy a hobby, connect with loved ones. There’s so many people in this sub who claim to never want to sell, or to hold until $xxx,xxx, but then who freak out and go “OMG, why is price down 3% today?!”
