Is this luck or the game mechanics?

In slime rancher 1, have you guys noticed that whenever you create a new game and go into the dry reef (or a bit beyond that point), you'll see a lucky slime? It could be a gold slime but i'm not sure. I'm watching this slime rancher video and they went into the dry reef. A lucky slime appeared. In my previous times of playing slime rancher, this has happened to me when i created a new game. Maybe it's just a coincidence and that luck comes at the start of the game or it's the game mechanics. I don't really know if it's to show the player that you can find those types of slimes throughout the game or it's just a normal thing that happens. Maybe you guys have an idea? I thought i would make this post since i've just noticed it but if it's something that happens unexpectedly then i guess that's what it is..

Help with multi-player mod

Me and my friend got slime rancher and got the mods and got it to work one night, then the next night when trying no matter what we did (change the ip address, port, restarting games) nothing would let him join when i hosted
Is there something we are doing wrong?

Did anyone just have chickens and like no slimes?

I used to share a save with my family we would all play on it.. and my mom just put a bunch of chickens.... we had very little slimes it was all chickens... those chickens lagged our game so bad. To a point where it took like 5 mins to leave our ranch.

Tangle Largos just disappeard

A full corral of Tangle-Pink Largos just up and disappeared. I had eight Largos in a corral, high walls, net on top, music box, plenty of food. Spent some time in Glass Desert, when I came back, the corral was completely empty, food on the floor, none of the Largos wandering around on the ranch. No idea where they are.

What’s the best route for free range slimes in SR1?

I’ve been thinking about giving my slimes an area to be free range, probably my phos slimes or the rads. Is there a “best way” to go about it/which area would be best? I’m thinking the grotto (which I have them in already) but I’m afraid they’ll get out lol. Do I risk it for the biscuit or..?

Why is my drone only feeding my boom slimes?

My boom, tabby, and hunter slimes are all on the same ranch, i have one drone and for some reason it’s not feeding the other two, just the boom slimes. How can i fix this so it feeds all of them?

The drone is just programmed to pick up chickens from outside plots and put them in corrals. It’s really annoying me

Mods for the game feel Underwhelming

I've been an early access player all the way back in 2016. Like...I remember when before The Ruins or Mossy Blanket was added. I had played the game frivolously and 100% it before 2020. I played a bit of Slime Rancher 2, sure, but I wanted more of that Slime Rancher 1 experience.

I wanted to try modded because I imagined it'd be really cool to see what people would come up with, different things slimes could do or become. But I modded with a bunch of mods (Tophat's Bouncy Bundle, Holy Slimes, Orbit n Balance, etc) and I found out that none of the slimes could become Largos...at least, not with the OG slimes. It makes sense that cross-mod largos don't happen, but I was really looking forward to combining modded slimes with old slimes.

Overall, it was underwhelming... If anyone has any mods like the ones I'm looking for in creating new Largos and discovering new slimes that can do that, please let me know!

 Slime rancher 2 - first 2 hours review.

IT'S WORKING! I GOT IT TO WORK! The problem was the charger which was making a jet from the laptop while playing SR1 and 2. I decided to change around the settings and i can play while its charging!!!


Anyway, I played SR2 for around 2 hours and the game is cute as always 🥺

The graphics are lovely and i just love how it overall looks.

The map is cool (still only at Rainbow Island).

The weather mechanic is pretty cool. Really adds that feeling that the time is passing (Or something)

Idk how to feel about the way, I have to get upgrades-


The only problem i have is how SLOW i get money or/and the crops are growing (unless its just me).

It's still not fully out so they might buff it ig.

I suppose the NPCs areas are not in the game. I hope they add them tho (atleast the ones from SR1). Speaking of NPCs, love to see em back :D

I suppose that's all. I'm gonna continue playing this silly game so expect me more here >:D bye!!! ^-^

Can someone help me open the gates for this map node

I’ve been trying to open the doors in the labyrinth to get this map node, but don’t know how. Anyone? It’s the one inside the labyrinth after you get to the Gigi hologram that says “isn’t it beautiful”. I cannot figure out how to open the doors, am I missing something?

So a long time ago i made a save in sr1 that was ment for my cousin (for privacy reasons lets call him ted). Ted baerly ever played the file witch a named after him. Later his dad got him sr1 for his ps4. I play on xbox so i cant go into the files of the game. Is there any way to change the bame?
