According to Matt Hougan, the Investment Director at Bitwise, future pullbacks will be shorter and less severe than the ones we’ve seen in years like 2022, 2018, and 2014. Why? Because the crypto space has really matured. There’s been a huge influx of funds, now in the billions and soon to hit the trillions.

So, Hougan’s advice? Don’t expect a major drop in 2026.

Arthur Hayes believes Bitcoin is primed to experience a deep drawdown

In a new blog post, Hayes says that the “more likely” path forward for Bitcoin is to drop by up to 32% from the current level before a massive rally.

“I don’t believe this bull cycle is over; however, on a forward-looking probabilistic basis, I think we are more likely to go down to $70,000 to $75,000 Bitcoin and then rise to $250,000 by the end of the year than to continue girding higher with no material pullback.”

💰Trump's crypto executive orders help drive $1.9 billion in digital asset fund flows: CoinShares

▪️Digital asset investment products saw inflows totalling $1.9bn last week, likely as a result of recent presidential executive orders that proposed the initiation of a strategic reserve asset in Bitcoin.

▪️In the altcoin space, Ethereum rebounded, with inflows of $205m, while XRP also saw a further $18.5m inflows.

▪️The most notable flows amongst the smaller digital assets were Solana, Chainlink and Polkadot with inflows of $6.9m, $6.6m and $2.6m respectively.

Ethereum's network blasted off with an astonishing 206,290 new addresses created between January 24th and 25th.

The 27-month high in daily wallet creation comes during a time when ETH crowd sentiment has veered particularly negative as other altcoins have outperformed it.

Regardless, due to DeFi and staking options for crypto's #2 market cap asset, Ethereum is still the entire sector's leader in total non-empty addresses.

quick update: liquidity slowly spreading evenly. things becoming less extreme as they were before.

Logically it would be all solid crypto gaming projects (they suffered the most this run)

$MAVIA $SHRAP $DOMI (riskier)
also gaming chains like $GUNZ (no token yet), AVAX, BEAM, RON heck SOL is open arms to gaming.

DeFi also (people will borrow hard to speculate on fundamental coins)
literally hundreds of projects here (just select chain that wasn't hyped for defi and put in every top DEX and lending protocols)

pure AI projects (no agent and meme shit) but I'm not to good at it maybe smn else can comment
