Over 90% of Salvadorans don’t transact with Bitcoin

Just 7.5% of respondents to an Oct. 10 survey from the San Salvador University Francisco Gavidia said they used Bitcoin
to make transactions, while 0.5% chose not to respond to the question.

Still, the survey found only 1.3% said Bitcoin should be the “main bet” for the country’s future, with respondents overwhelmingly saying education and industry should be the primary focus.

Arthur Hayes has introduced a new article “Persistent Weak Layer”

1️⃣ He likens the geopolitical instability in the Middle East to a weak layer that could cause the world markets to crash if the conflict between Israel and Iran intensifies.

2️⃣ If the conflict escalates, it could result in damage to oil infrastructure and higher energy prices, which would drive up the cost of Bitcoin, often viewed as a “digital energy reserve.”

3️⃣ Hayes believes that the growth of the global money supply is driving the rise of cryptocurrency. He argues that BTC will keep growing at a steady pace, even if there’s a potential drop in hashrate due to Iranian miners shutting down.

Yes thanks for asking.

We are launching on The Hercules Dex. It is the primier dex on Metis and you can find it at Hercules.Exchange

We are on the token list already you can see the logo now.

In terms of fair launch....i mean since it's a "re-launch" technically i'm not sure if its fair or unfair. Approx. 45% supply will already be circulating on launch with old holders. So expect some volatility in both directions. I think there is more demand than there is people waiting to get out. But we will see.

Tokenomics: 100 mil supply, no tax. Standard ERC20.

The LP will have between 5-6 percent to start. The team holds about 5% and the rest is circulating or will be locked in a smart contract directly on Hercules.

In the next 2 weeks we'll be releasing updated documentation with a nice little pie chart to show the breakdown of tokens.

Lastly, there will be incentives provided by us (VESTA) and by Hercules (TORCH) for a extra incentivized LP (Nitro Pool/Farm).

In terms of retribution.

All VDAO holders effected by the hack will be reimbursed in about 2 hours.

For AFRO holders, I am hoping to have a successful NFT mint (LoFi Llamas) on the 1st of Nov. and will be using roughly 1k to reimburse those guys.

(might have a meme coming from a friend who could reimburse holders too)

So needles to say, it might be taking longer than I'd like, but it's a top priority to get these people taken care of. Repuation and image are everything in thsi space and I feel like I am setting myself to have a good one. But not paying the AFRO holders back would haunt me forever. So it's not an option to leave them hanging.

We are re-launching VESTA today and have some future plans.

- Newspaper NFT: A very affordable NFT that gives users a chance to hold a piece of Metis history on chain. The unique part of this NFT is that I'm building a degradable function. I want it to mimic a classic comic book. The more hands it changes the higher the probability it has to lose it's PSA 10 mint condition rating.

-Learning Center to help onboard users to Metis: This is a gamified learning center that maps a users journey all the way from hearing about crypto to bridging to Metis and providing LP on the main dex, Hercules.

-Trading Bot: This is a newer idea and is reliant on additional funding. But there are no native trading bots on Metis and we'd like to make the first native and the first TG mini app trading bot. If successful we plan to host trading competitions to increase volume on metis and further align our initiatives with those of the Metis Foundation.

Ultimately, by aligning with the Foundation I want to set us up for additional funding opportunities and to do as many collaborations and partnerships with other Metis projects, as possible.

Yes - quite an unfortunate situation that was. But to be honest, i leanrned SO MUCH FROM IT!

But looking ahead....as maniac said, we recieved a grant/fund from Metis (the chain we are on) after a succesfull crowd source round.

We out performed projects with 10/20x more twitter followers, tg members, etc... A true underdog story.

So for the future/today....
