The total number of active addresses on the Bitcoin network hit new lows in 2024, reaching the same level as 3 years ago, when the price of BTC was quoted at around $45,000.
A decline in active addresses indicates less overall activity on the Bitcoin network, i.e. fewer transactions are taking place, which may reflect less interest in using the network at this point in the market.
The timing is not very good now. Most people left crypto for other stuff.
Early in a bull run people will come back😉
I remember when this group was good with smart ppl. It's a ghost town. Knowledge has disappear. Common on make it bubble :)

Opinion: Four-year cycle is dead
Outlier Ventures Head of Research Jasper De Maere said that investors should move away from the notion of a four-year cycle.
“The halving no longer has a fundamental impact on the price of BTC and other digital assets, with the last time it had dating back to 2016,” he said, adding: “It’s time for founders and investors to move away from the notion of a four year cycle as digital asset markets mature.”Читать полностью…
It depends on your risk appetite and capital. If it's under 10k for crypto, I would only consider low caps. In general, low caps appear to be a better bets since crypto people love new shiny stuff. However, there are myriad of things to consider for your personal preference. From my experience the biggest gains are from holding for a long time for 20-100x but in order to do so you need to feel comfy and have high conviction in something and that's always a personal thing, in my opinion.
I'm looking for fundamental value in a crypto project because I like to invest for longer horizon and flip here and there between 3-5 projects I like.

Crypto holders are more likely to be psychopaths 🤷🏻♂️
The old Twitter joke about laser-eyed Bitcoin maxis being “psychopaths” may be more than just a meme.
▫️According to researchers from the University of Toronto and the University of Miami, roughly 30% of polled owned some form of cryptocurrency. This group was more associated with “belief in conspiracy theories,” alongside dark tetrad characteristics including “narcissism, Machiavellianism, psychopathy, and sadism.”
▫️The research paper went mostly unnoticed until it was shared by Johns Hopkins Economics Professor Steve Hanke – a notorious Bitcoin critic – earlier this week.
Crypto holders display lower levels of analytic and scientific thinking and are likelier to exhibit psychopathy than the general population.Читать полностью…
