Makes sense, you can make good profits outta good projects, provided you know how to gauge those. Usually it takes more than one cycle to learn that.

For others, making 10x off an alt isn't that easy. It depends on when they've entered. Let's say if a coin peaked at $10. Someone entered below $1 can easily make it. Anyone entering after it goes above $1 will keep waiting and make low or no profits. Can't imagine someone entering at $5 and waiting for 10x.

🌇 Detroit to become largest US city to accept cryptocurrency payments

In a Nov. 7 statement, the Detroit Treasury said the new crypto payment options would be offered through a “secure payment platform managed by PayPal” from mid-2025.

The announcement did not clarify which cryptocurrencies Detroit would accept as payment, but PayPal currently provides support for a small number of major crypto assets, including BTC, ETH, BCH, PYUSD.

Agree that's why I prefer to asses projects individually. See where am I on the graph and how much of the potential is left. Many projects appear almost everyday so there's no reason to be upset if you missed something and also if you get into late and project is good there's also no reason to be sad as you can use leverage to compensate the left upside. Hope it makes sense sorry if making a confusion

I think generalized approach to the market is good if you don't want to spend too much time on market monitoring. Let's say 10x for a decent alt is moderate I would say even conservative goal which is likely to be met than not. On the other hand, if you spend more time in the market setting goals like 10-20x or smth just doesn't make sense. why not let good projects fly more if you understand how they acrue value? and scale out if you don't understand it anymore.

We had a discussion last cycle in Quora main chat, forget exiting at the top, many didn't even make 2x-3x. No use waiting for 10x in each project, we need a solid exit strategy.

Can the experts here suggest some indicators to exit from any crypto at peak bull? I know we can't exit entire bag of all cryptos at the same time, the timing of narratives pumping would be different. So need to exit based on a single narrative or a crypto when they are doing well.

I know we can't exit at the top but it would be great if it's near the top.

Any suggestions are appreciated 😊

Among those being considered for chair of the Securities and Exchange Commission is Dan Gallagher, a Republican SEC commissioner from 2011 to 2015 who is currently chief legal and compliance officer at Robinhood.
