Offtopic group for casual talking about anything. @rules_for_python still apply (except for the ontopic rule)
No, I agree it has a use case, but you simply can't just use it without using your brain. It is a tool if used properly, it is great, if you're stupid then that tool is pointless.

Thank you for the side note ✍️
I am obsessed with the fundamentals of anything that I am doing. Everything always seems to go back to them in any field.
I've also noticed that anyone who's a master of something, always seems to understand the fundamentals in a way that other people can't. So, you think they're doing something differently while in reality, they are just doing the same things you've skipped or deemed too easy
Now, I have to ask.
When did you start and what did you switch to?
They will not release a product that will hurt their business... And they are not going to give it so cheap that they will not make any money...
They are walking a tight rope.
Remember my words, maybe after a few decades, IT companies will start shutting down because of
"Top 3 ai owner"
Not about monopoly. But Because they have that level of power to do it. What I’m saying is that this problem is going to arise because of them. Actually, I can’t directly name any AI like that here.

Not really... people who know how things work will succeed.
If you know how the database really works and what it can do, you can make a good database program; someone who doesn't know much would probably use a text file for the database.
Trust me, it is good for everyone, if you're not a slacker.

Well IT is not my main job, our company makes electronic stuff... controllers, HVAC systems, etc.

No jobs = No money = No purchase = No nothing... the AI companies will not be able to sell... but we should thank the Chinese who are keeping the AI cheaper.

Actually, AI is making people honest... I know lots of companies (Including mine) that force people to use AI; humans are supposed to check the code.
There used to be people who would hide behind "Programming is hard and slow"... now it is not... so produce.
I'm sitting in the my office and the people on the site in Saudi Arabia aren't ready.

Most companies have AI budget. They are checking if it’s really useful and applicable to their use case.
Everyone jumped on the bandwagon in the beginning, slowly they are realising that AI can be money sink.
hi. Has anyone completed the ML project to predict the Forex market ?
can anyone help me to build Algo Trading Model
Even some solid reference also helpful
Bro think...
Their customers are IT companies; they are not going to kill them.
Assuming they take everything over and provide all the services, providing those services is not possible without humans... even if you have AI for writing emails, support, and chatting, people still give orders to salespeople. But then again, what that company needs has to be entered by someone (we still don't have something magical).
Yesterday, I made a program using Hermes on my phone to control my Mac, but I'm sure it wouldn't be able to do it just by "wishing" it could.
These large companies need money to run; they are currently in Significant losses, including the largest revenue from Anthropic Claude, 30 billion, but their expenses are much higher.
But if the AI owner itself remains highly profitable, then why would they care about IT companies or normal employees?

AI company cannot afford it... Doctors don't want people to die, thieves don't want people to be poor.

You are talking about monopolies. Most of the infrastructure is already controlled by few companies.
What you propose isn’t adoptable.
Only a few top AI owners will rule. In the case of the IT field

Imagine if all IT companies shut down or were surviving at a loss. What would you do then?

Everyone would stop buying the stuff they advertise, and the whole world would collapse... You think they haven't thought about that?

What I mean is that the people running AI/ai owner could completely dominate the IT market. Even IT companies might shut down after a few years or they may survive with very low profit margins. If something like this happens, it will affect everyone, except perhaps a few AI companies.
And for some reason, I don't feel it's right to share details and proof about how this could be done.
