They prey on weakness & fear and will ask you to connect your wallet on websites to "verify" your wallet. This sweeps your funds. Scammers will try to call, phone, invite you to fake groups. To prevent this change the settings for calls, phone number & group invites:
Settings -> Privacy & Security -> set to "my contacts" or "nobody"
