That latest stuff, the 3rd order polynomial, is highly technical. Basically, ASERT uses 2^x, but that's hard to code, so they do some fancy exponential math to get x to be between 0 and 1, then they fit it with a third order polynomial because polynomials are easier to code.

We can use their same hardcoded 3rd order polynomial and shift process. The 65536 is 2^16, so that's all above board I think. I think I'm wrong about the hardcoded anchor.

Anyway, we can mostly just copy bch-abc. As opposed to bch-node, which did not take the asert fork. The funky thing is that the ABC fork also created a hard-coded dev fund, which is highly controversial in my opinion. So we're kinda gonna rip out the good control loop stuff for our chain and leave the yucky centralized dev fund stuff.
