This is a good question. First of all, most transactions happen on-chain, which means, users can check and verify anytime.
We also have The timelock contract which enforces a 48 hour wait period before any changes to the OUSD or OETH contracts can be executed. Time-delaying admin actions gives users a chance to exit OUSD or OETH if its admins become malicious, are compromised, or make a change that the users do not like.
Furthermore, the weighting of how assets are distributed between the supported strategies is decided by veOGV holders using Snapshot voting. The results of any successful reallocation proposals are executed on-chain by members of the Strategist multi-sig (known as "Strategists") subject to their review and discretion. However, Strategists do not have the power to add new strategies or withdraw funds from the protocol. Community members can use the Strategy Validator tools to more easily create and decode which actions are being performed by the Strategists.
To generate that yield, in the process, OUSD uses its backed stablecoins (USDT, USDC, and DAI) to be invested in those mentioned strategies 🙂

This acronym is not explained in the OETH docs. Thanks
The main purpose is to reduce or eliminate the friction for new users to come and invest in DeFi. It's common to see that users have to stake (lock up) their funds and claim frequently and as a result they spend gas multiple times in the process. With OToken, they need to swap/buy OETH or OUSD and hold to earn passively in their wallets.

My question regarding OETH 🤷♂️
What cryptographic algorithms and mechanisms are employed in the 'oeth' token for secure transactions and data integrity within the blockchain network?
The smart contracts generate yield by deploying the deposited collateral into trusted DeFi protocols such as Curve, Convex, Balancer, Compound, Aave, and Morpho. There may be new diversified strategies added to the vault in the future as approved by governance. Earned interest, trading fees, and rewards tokens are swapped and reinvested to produce yield on OUSD.

There's no option for it, but as that has been requested for the last few months, I'll work on sharing this request with the Origin Story team. Thanks Peer! 🎈

OUSD and OETH are similar when we talk about base code but different when we talk about how those tokens generate revenue for their holders. OUSD is focused on stablecoins investments/strategies (USDT, USDC & DAI), and its price is pegged to 1 USD. In this case, the projects used for strategies are Morpho, Maker DAO, and Flux.
On the OETH side, we have that its price is pegged to ETH (ether). The strategies used on its end are led by Frax, Convex Finance, Lido, RocketPool, Morpho, and saving part of the token on WETH.
