Positive Reflections messages from Awakening consciousness
Learning To Be At Peace With Time (Part 2) |
Being In The Present Moment
Gaining mastery over the subtle dimensions of time needs that we do not fear time, fight it or force it. To reach this stage we need to take care of two aspects – to live in the present moment and to be at peace with time. Living in the present requires complete acceptance of ourselves along with our circumstances. Otherwise, if we avoid, regret, complain about or question the present, we will keep getting stuck and complicate life. By choosing to accept the present moment, we will have control over it. Acceptance only means that the circumstances of the present moment should not influence our vibrations. We choose our vibrations. Thus, acceptance brings us a sense of comfort, gratitude and satisfaction for whatever we have. This positive attitude radiates contentment and happiness. The mind and intellect naturally function calmly, creatively and lovingly. As a result, our thoughts, words and actions in the present moment will be right. Spiritually, right karma in the present is all that matters. With a little practice, our mind gradually gets trained and learns to live more in the present.
Being at peace with time means being in harmony with the past, having respect for the present and carrying a readiness for the future. It happens when we treat time as our friend, a constant and trusted companion. When we place our trust in time, we experience inner freedom because we stop experiencing sorrow about the past or worrying about the future. Suppose we have an urgent task to complete at the office. If we are at peace with time, we create only one thought - I am putting my best efforts and will successfully complete it in time. We do not stress about time, and we only invest our energy in the task. This increases our probability of success. Even if we fail, we will have the inner power to face the results. On the other hand, if we are not at peace with time, we stress about time. The mind creates thoughts like - So much to do. What if I cannot complete the task in time? I missed a deadline last month too. My boss may hold these things against me and deny my next promotion... I should hurry. In this case back-referencing to past and carrying anxiety about the future will block the mind from giving its best in the present. Being at peace with time, in this case, is a more uplifting experience because we flow with time, not race against it. We greet every moment with love and without preconceived ideas in our mind. We start living more and judging less, so inner freedom becomes a natural result of that.

Learning To Be At Peace With Time (Part 1) |
Our Relationship With Time
Each of us aspires for emotional freedom or a peaceful state of mind where we are at ease with ourselves and content with everything around. Having certainly tasted such moments, we all know how fulfilling and soothing they are. But we are not able to sustain them. Our quality of life largely depends on how we deal with the three aspects of time – past, present and future. So, whether we live as masters of time or as its victims, depends on which aspect of time we place our mind on or give our emotional energies to. The present moment is all that we have, and we need to make it productive. But most of our time our mind is not always in the present. It slips into scenes from the past or creates projections about the future. Past memories and future plans are needed, but being so engaged in looking back or looking ahead that we miss living in the present is not the right thing to do and does not give you good results in any sphere of life.
Thinking of the past means reconstructing scenes over which we have no power. They live only in our memories. When a past memory is triggered, an entire spectrum of emotions associated with that memory also get triggered. There are also big chances that we drift into another past memory from the first past memory and then into another. So, we may experience an emotional roller-coaster, depleting our resources of time and energy. Sometimes we wonder - Why am I feeling so uneasy? I was just sitting here doing nothing, but my mind was entangled in the past. Thinking of the future means painting on the screen of our mind, a scene of what we want or what we anticipate. That scene may or may not become a reality, we don’t know. But the mind is now carrying the excess baggage of all these scenes and hence its energy gets depleted. A mind pre-occupied with the past or future, ruins the present. Tired, anxious, or upset, it mostly remains vulnerable and weak. As we can see, time does not actually harm us. Our mind chains itself to the past and future and causes its own suffering. This is when we become slaves of time. In the next message let us explore how to master the dimension of time.

Take And Apply One Value For Each Day |
Every scene in our daily life presents so many choices of how to be and what to do. The decision we take in each of them is a reflection of our values. Whether it is our care, patience, sincerity or gratitude - values give direction and add meaning to life. If our thoughts, words and behaviors are in line with our values, we feel comfortable. But if we compromise, deviate or give up values for any reason, we regret it sooner or later.
As someone who believes in moral living, you create a compass of values and use it to guide your choices and decisions. But as you set out into the world, you notice people around you compromising on their values. At those moments, do you get tempted to drop yours? Have you given up on any value just because someone else you live with, doesn’t have it? Values are our strength. Even if no one around us is using them, and even if others believe they don’t work, we should not give them up. But often our behavior becomes only a reflection of the way others behave with us, and in the process our own values get lost. Living values means to consistently strengthen the spectrum of our principles and use them every time with everyone. Holding on to our values even in the face of temptations and challenges, increases our power. Values should be at the heart of all our choices and decisions, always. Otherwise if we use them only as per convenience, our values lose their value. Choose any one value and for the next 24 hours, be committed to make that value reflect in who you are and what you do. Use it always and with everyone. Remind yourself - I choose one value every day. And I use it in my every thought, word and behaviour. My values define me. I bring them into action in every scene and strengthen my personality.
The value you choose becomes like a code of conduct which helps you become better and better. You will also make a difference to people and situations around you.
5 Ways To Become Fearless
1. Remain In A Powerful Consciousness Of Self Respect - The first and most important way by which we can overcome all our fears is to deeply realize our own spiritual importance and also feel our own specialties that we have in terms of wisdom, qualities, skills and any other personality traits. Also, inculcate a habit of seeing different situations of life as a detached observer and feel that we can overcome them easily with the inner power of our different attainments.
2. Remember God And Experience His Help And Power - In any situation, when we feel ourselves to be alone we fear the situation and think that we cannot resolve it on our own. In such situations, visualize and experience God close to you and take His Supreme help and absorb His Supreme power. Also, let God guide the situation and you leave the responsibility to Him and let Him do the best. This will make you constantly fearless.
3. Face The Situation With Lightness And Don’t Weaken Under Its Pressure - When you fear any particular situation, it starts dominating you and your thoughts, words and actions become weak. Remember the two points of spiritual power in such situations in your mind again and again – I Am A Master World Almighty Authority, child of God – the World Almighty Authority and I Am A Destroyer Of Obstacles. These thoughts act positively on the situations and make them positive and beneficial for you.
4. Reflect And Go Within And Visualize Your Victory - Fearlessness comes when we visualize in advance that the situation has already been overcome, with no doubt in our minds about that. The more we practice this in any situation, the more we become used to overcoming difficult situations easily and we become brave and resilient, without any worries.
5. Tell Yourself That Fear Is Not Good For You - Always keep reminding yourself that fear is a negative energy and it is harmful for your own mind and its well-being, your physical health, your relationships and the success of whatever actions you perform. The more you realize that fear is the wrong path to take, and it will only worsen the situation more, the more you do not allow it to touch your consciousness.
Making Remembrance Of God Natural And Easy
One of the common complaints of modern day humans is that we cannot see God with our physical eyes and it is difficult to remember Him constantly. Also, it is seen that when many people listen about meditation and about connecting with God, they are not comfortable with the idea and they don't make an effort to practice meditation. Spirituality teaches that meditation is very easy and practicing it brings us closer to God and we can have beautiful experiences in such a spiritual journey. Let us look at 5 ways by which meditation can be made natural and easy -
1. Have Faith In God and Learn Who He Is - The first and foremost step in making a deep and meaningful link with God is knowing God closely - His name, form, qualities, role and where He stays. The next step is faith in this wisdom.
2. Listen To God's Wisdom And Get To Know Him Well - The next step in creating a deep relationship with God is to know His thoughts and feelings which He has for me, the soul and which He expresses about Himself, through the medium of spiritual wisdom given by God Himself.
3. Learn The Technique Of Meditation - Meditation is a beautiful and creative method of connecting with God. But we cannot experience success in it if we don't know its exact technique. When we meditate after knowing God closely and with the right technique, our lives get transformed and we feel empowered.
4. Make Meditation A Constant Part Of Your Life Journey - Meditation is beautiful when it is constant. Every action accompanied with meditation is called karmayoga. Karmayoga leads us to peace and bliss that we have never experienced before and makes us better, purer and more powerful souls.
5. Use Meditation In Different Spheres Of Your Life - When you are not physically or mentally well, or when your relationships are lacking peace, love or joy, or when there is a difficulty at work, use meditation to resolve any issue. This will make meditation a constant part of your life.
Newness At Every Step (Part 3)
Life which is above the ordinary makes it full of joy. Also, a spiritual perspective of joyful living is talking to yourself at all times and seeing positives in life’s situations, no matter how negative they may be. Along with that, loving each one and spreading the energy of good wishes in every relationship of yours makes life beautiful and full of positivity. Do this, once everyday, remember all those whom you are close to and say – You are all special souls and I have a pure bond full of love with you all. It is my positive good wish that you all remain extremely happy and full of all qualities and also you overcome different life situations easily and experience success at every step. This is giving blessings to everyone. This is positivity in karma and not only positivity kept restricted at the consciousness level, which is theoretical. Remember, people are one of the most important aspects of our life. So, interactions with them, which are positive and full of love, make life enjoyable and full of newness.
Even God should be admired and loved in a new light each day. In this way, a relationship with Him remains full of love and enthusiasm and not just a repetitive remembrance routine which is forgotten, once completed. In fact, God is our Father and Mother and even our Friend, Teacher and Guru. Remembering God through these different relationships and also remembering God’s different virtues or qualities is a way of loving God differently. E.g. you call God your Friend but do you experience that relationship with Him? Or you call God an Almighty source, but do you feel that might or power in your day-to-day life? So, everything you do should be full of variety and creativity, which will make life’s journey smooth and something to look forward to everyday.
Newness At Every Step (Part 2)
A very important aspect of newness in our lives is a different perspective to life’s situations. A positive perspective makes life experiences more beautiful. A positive minded person with a positive perspective looks at life differently than a person with a somewhat negative mindset. Let’s say a person is facing a challenge at work and is not being able to come to a solution to overcome it. If he were to look at the current crisis in his life with a different perspective, he would arrive at a solution much faster and more easily than if he were to remain with the same perspective which he has been keeping for a long time. Solutions to problems can be arrived at magically at times with a different attitude and view point. But to make life full of new ideas and thoughts, one needs to fill the mind with fresh knowledge, not only from the world but also from spiritual sources which talk a lot about the self and also about God. Remember the more you know about yourself and about the Supreme Being, the wiser you will become and will look at life with a fresh perspective, which is the key to success.
Also, looking at people’s specialties, in fact different specialties in different situations, adds a positive flavor to life. The same people will look different and nicer when you do that. Don’t forget, everyone has different specialties that we generally know and are aware of. Say, you are not on good terms with a person and you receive negative energy from that person regularly. See that person’s different specialties for a few days and you will never get tired of the situations involving him or her. This is practical positive thinking and also new thinking.

Newness At Every Step (Part 1)
Living a life of positivity and creativity makes life a beautiful journey which one loves completely and enjoys to the fullest extent. Different thoughts, words and actions full of newness and enthusiasm are the driving energy of your life. Life should not be a routine with the same type of thoughts, words and actions everyday. On the other hand, life should be a journey full of happiness and variety with different types of events and not the same scenes and situations everyday. Also making a lot of interactions with different types of people everyday gives life a new touch of positivity and relaxation which would not be possible if we met the same people everyday. So, make it a point to meet new people everyday and give life a new meaning and purpose by doing different types of creative activities. Even in your job, look for different types of activities which give life a new purpose. Don’t become accustomed to a similar routine everyday which can make the job or even the house work a boring exercise. Be creative and bring newness at every step.
Also, whenever you start your day, create a few positive thoughts or affirmations in your mind. Let them be full of success and a lot of determination which will keep you full of positive energy in the entire day, so that actions can be performed without getting tired. This is what joyful living is. Also, after every couple of hours in the day, stop your work for 3 minutes and check the thoughts in your mind. If they are going in the wrong direction, give them a new direction by meditating and creating a lot of powerful and positive thoughts or at times if you feel it more comfortable, experience silence in meditation by connecting with God, the Ocean of Peace. One is an expansion of thoughts and the other is packing up. Both are spiritual methods of empowering the mind. Both have their own benefits and help in mind control. Try either one depending on the situation. Also, throughout the day, talk to God and make Him a part of your life as you would make a close relative or friend, in the same manner.

Be Easy, Not Busy
We routinely use the vocabulary - I am very busy...I have no time. This mindset doesn't let us prioritize or manage time. We over-commit and under-deliver in every area of life. The turbulent energy of the word Busy conveys that we are not available to enjoy life's moments. Busyness makes us stressed about saving time, wasting time and constantly being in action. Just by saying busy..busy..busy… even if our schedule permits few hours of leisure, we won’t utilize it to care for ourselves or others. We don’t meet people, we call them. We don’t listen to them, we speak. We don’t connect, we just remain in contact. Today we have more responsibilities, more pressures, more expectations. More need not mean Busy. We can work 16 hours a day remaining calm and happy. Let’s start saying I am Easy, I have time for everything. The relaxed energy of the word Easy keeps us calm, focused and efficient. Then we won’t want time, we will have more time.
We come across professionals or housewives who work 14 hours a day remaining easy. We also meet school kids who say I am very busy, hurry up. Today the energy of being busy is in the air. When we consume and add it to our vocabulary, we radiate a message of having too much to manage and that we are not available for people. Being Easy or Busy indicate opposite states of your mind. They having nothing to do with the amount of work you do. Replace busy with easy and see the difference it makes to your emotional health. You will no longer hurry yourself or other people and create panic. You will go with the flow instead of resisting unexpected situations. You radiate vibrations of peace to your mind, health to your body, harmony to your relationships and happiness to your environment.
You Have More Time Than You Need
Have you found yourself not doing things you liked to do? The belief of not having enough time is more a mental block than our reality, preventing us from using time the right way. We all want to exercise, meditate, go for a holiday, but time seems a barrier. By repeatedly creating the thought - I don't have time for this, we have programmed the mind to believe so, and eventually manifest it into our reality.
1. Constantly complaining about lack of time radiates an energy of rejection towards yourself or towards others. It gives a feeling of not being available for yourself, family, friends or colleagues.
2. Time is not the reason to not do something. The real reason is that the task has not been your priority. The day you say - This is my priority… I will exercise, I will meditate, I will spend time with my family… you will make time for it.
3. Cultivate a good relationship with time by valuing it. Do not waste it in wasteful thinking or activities. When you respect time, it co-operates with you and you will be able to focus better, complete tasks in lesser time and be more productive.
4. Select one activity for which you have been saying you don’t have time. Firmly believe you have more time than you need and visualize yourself doing that activity.
5 Beautiful Specialties Of God
1. The One Whom Everyone Sees As God - In India, people worship a large number of deities or devi devtas. Outside India, different religious heads are worshipped with great respect. In fact, He is the Supreme One whom everyone looks upto for sustenance. He fills all the souls of the world with His wisdom, qualities and powers and even purifies the 5 elements of nature.
3. Beyond The Dualities Of The World - God is the one who is beyond birth and rebirth, joy and sorrow, action and the fruit of action. He is the One constant Supreme Soul, always staying in the soul world, ever pure, blissful, knowledgeful and powerful and always soul conscious, sweet and the most humble Supreme Parent of all souls of the world.

Positive Thinking And Visualization
We constantly hear about thinking positive, cultivating a positive mindset, being positive, and so on. Let’s understand its meaning. Positive thinking means right thinking at every moment. We expect the best, visualize the best to happen, but we also accept the outcome, whatever it may be. We accept that the outcome is accurate at this moment, according to our karmic accounts. This acceptance is a critical part of positive thinking.
Sit back and see how you tune your mind for positive thinking -
Affirmation:
I am a powerful being. I am contented with every scene of my life. Everything is happening exactly as it is meant to be…. the right way and at the perfect time. I create only positive thoughts in every scene ... my thoughts reflect my peace, purity and power… I visualize only the best happening in the next scene…at home…at office…with friends…in every scene… I radiate my highest vibration to the scene with my right thoughts…. my vibrations elevate the next scene. Scenes today may not be my way. If people are not right, I record only one positive thought – It’s their nature, and their behaviour is accurate as per my karmic account with them. I respond with compassion and not rejection or hurt. Today situations may not be my way. I create only one positive thought – I understand this situation is as it was meant to be at the moment, accurate according to my past karmic accounts. My mind remains calm…no questions…no judgments…. I accept every scene. People can be their way ... situation can be the way it is meant to be ... I will be my way ... the right way ... and influence a positive outcome. My positive thoughts keep me happy and healthy.
Repeat this affirmation daily. You positive thinking will shift from expectations to acceptance. You will also not record negative impressions about the scenes. Your mind learns a new, positive language and creates only right thoughts.
