Positive Reflections messages from Awakening consciousness
A Higher Purpose At Every Step (Part 2)
A very important aspect of keeping a higher purpose in every action, even if that action is a very ordinary action like cooking food or driving a vehicle or working on your phone or computer, is keeping a higher consciousness. A higher consciousness means a positive state of mind, a state of mind full of mental strength and determination, full of the surety of success and along with that very stable and fearless. Also, a higher consciousness means a mind full of only positive and necessary thoughts and no negative and unnecessary thoughts. So, you need to check and keep such a higher mental state, which will always bring you victory at every step, because where there is the inner power of faith, victory is guaranteed. Keeping a state of mind focused only the actions you are performing and taking care that the actions are performed well, is not enough to get success in the actions alone. Take an example - if you are working on a project in your workplace, and you have various tasks to perform in the project. Taking care of all those tasks is natural and you should and will look after them, but if you keep an ordinary consciousness, then there will be more obstacles in the tasks and it will even take longer to complete. Also, there will be more problems and issues of differences of personalities in interactions with people involved in the project. So, in such a case, if everyone involved in the task would begin their day with something good to read, some spiritual wisdom, some positive thoughts, some food for the mind, then the project and all its tasks would be done much sooner. Also, there would be greater amount of success in them.
So, a higher consciousness means a higher purpose for the mind. Over-thinking about a task and becoming stressed about it is a sign of an ordinary purpose. A higher purpose means a positively empowered mind which thinks above the ordinary day-to-day tasks.

A Higher Purpose At Every Step (Part 1)
A beautiful and important purpose of our lives is to make everyday important and worthwhile and also make sure that each moment of our lives is extremely valuably spent. How does one ensure and how does one know the right way of spending time? Suppose I am visiting a friend of mine and I will have a few things to discuss with him about our lives. In such a case, is this the only purpose of my meeting or can I have a higher purpose or should have a higher purpose? A higher purpose means being a virtue filled person having virtues or qualities expressed through my words and actions when I interact with my friend. Also, do I give the experience of my virtues to the other person or are they experienced only by me? Also, do I possess divine wisdom inside me while I interact with someone? Divine wisdom’s first step is experiencing myself as a spiritual being or soul? Do I see the other person also as a spiritual being while talking to him? Another aspect of a higher purpose in this type of meeting would be giving happiness and giving and receiving blessings. After such an interaction, do I experience contentment at the level of the heart or a deep rooted feeling of happiness of having contributed to the other person in a higher way? Or do I just feel superficially happy for a short period of time and the interaction is forgotten? These are some of the few things to observe and make a part of every action. We have given an example of an interaction or meeting a person, which is something we do the whole day - we meet a number of different types of people all the time.
Let us look for higher purposes in everything we do. Let us give, share and donate our inner treasures of peace, love and joy to everyone we meet and let us experience these treasures in every action that we perform. Just living from morning to night with no higher purpose is almost living like machines, just performing actions, with temporary purposes.

Have Clarity, No Confusions
Having clarity is the key to live a life of peace and stability. But we often find ourselves wondering how to be, what to do or which direction to step towards. When the mind enters a confused state, it creates uncertainty, irritation, anxiety and fear. We struggle to move forward and feel lost. Clarity is vital for life of peace and stability. Sometimes our mind is clouded with confusion. In this agitated inner state, mind creates too many thoughts, and the intellect cannot process them smoothly. So we struggle to take right decisions or timely decisions.
Follow these steps to take the path of clarity -
1)Confusion cannot be sorted from thinking at the same level. You need to be calm and elevate your thoughts.
2)Meditate for at least 15 minutes every morning. It cleans your mind of emotional toxins and silences it. Your intuition or wisdom gets activated.
3) the stillness of your mind, put forth your question and wait for answers. Be assured that right answers come either immediately or later.
4) Whether it is confusion in beliefs, decisions, career or relationships, solution is within you. Even if you take advice from others, take decisions based on your intuition.
Clarity helps you take charge of the situation and choose right responses. Sit back and let’s affirm how we shift towards clarity -
I am a wise being … my every thought is right … I energise my mind every morning … I meditate for 15 mins … I strengthen my intuition daily … I choose my response … I decide what is right for me … every decision is based on my values … my intuition gives me the right ans
The Invisible Impressions That Shape Me
While the mind and intellect are two faculties of the soul which play their role on the surface of our consciousness; at a deeper level, hidden beneath these two faculties, there lies a third faculty commonly called the sanskaras. The sanskaras is not only a store house of personality traits, as we commonly know it to be, but a store house of millions and millions of impressions or imprints. Such a large number of impressions are created by millions of experiences that I go through my sense organs not only in this life but in all my lifetimes. Everything that I hear, see, touch, taste, etc. I process or analyze or summarize in my own unique way; basically I give the experiences a unique form depending on my personality, before this form gets stored in the form of impressions inside me. I even process my subtle experiences, which are in the form of thoughts and feelings.
This process of experiencing and processing takes place during each and every second of my life including the time I sleep, when my mind may not be experiencing a lot but it is busy processing the physical and subtle experiences of the day that has gone by and storing the processed information in the form of impressions. From this, one can get an idea of the magnitude of the database of impressions stored within me, the being. These imprints which are unique to me, make up my sanskaras, and shape up my unique personality in a cyclic process. My personality shapes what type of impressions are created out of my experiences and the impressions in turn shape my personality, my thoughts, words and actions e.g. if I constantly keep the company of people who gossip, a large number of respective impressions based on the experience of gossiping keep getting stored inside me, which in turn influence my personality, the personality characteristic gets stronger and over a period of time I do not find anything wrong with it and indulge in it more and more. As a result more such impressions get stored. Thus it is a cyclic process.
5 Beautiful Specialties Of God
1) The One Whom Everyone Sees As God - In India, people worship a large number of deities or devi devtas. Outside India, different religious heads are worshipped with great respect. But God is the One bodiless Supreme Being Of Spiritual Light, the One Ocean of all qualities which remain constant always. He is known in different religions as God, Eeshwar, Bhagwan, Allah etc.
2) The Highest Of Highest - God is the Supreme Father, Supreme Teacher And Supreme Guru Of The World. He does not take sustenance from any other soul. In fact, He is the Supreme One whom everyone looks upto for sustenance. He fills all the souls of the world with His wisdom, qualities and powers and even purifies the 5 elements of nature.
3) Beyond The Dualities Of The World - God is the one who is beyond birth and rebirth, joy and sorrow, action and the fruit of action. He is the One constant Supreme Soul, always staying in the soul world, ever pure, blissful, knowledgeful and powerful and always soul conscious, sweet and the most humble Supreme Parent of all souls of the world.
4) The Ocean Of Wisdom Who Knows Everything - God possesses the wisdom of the soul, Himself and the complete details of the World Drama and how it is cyclic in nature. He also knows the secrets of every life situation and how to resolve it. Everyone looks upto Him in times of sorrow for divine help. He possesses the most pure and supreme intellect.
5) The Giver Of Goodness And Who Does Not Take - God is the One who never takes or expects to take anything from anyone. He is the constant donor and giver of everything good - both physical and non-physical. By remembering Him, not only do we fulfill ourselves internally but we also achieve success in the world and get everything good on a physical level.
Returning To My Original State Of Goodness (Part 3)
To return to our original state of goodness, we need to look towards a Higher Source of spiritual power and positivity. Asking for love and happiness from others is like the musk deer which possesses the fragrance it’s looking for in its navel but looks for it outside. We have all these treasures inside us. Going back to the original virtuous self means realizing this completely and then taking the knowledge and power to fill ourselves with these treasures from God, who never loses these treasures. Also, the more these treasures have reduced inside us over a period of many births, the more we have lost our happiness. Also, we have become burdened with lots of incorrect sanskaras or personality characteristics. These characteristics have become a part of our nature due to incorrect actions performed by us as we came down the ladder of many births or lives.
So now, the call of time is to connect with the Supreme Being or Supreme Soul, the Supreme Parent of each soul of the world - God and regain all those positive qualities. This will make us rich internally, on a spiritual level. The more we do that, the more we will return to the original stage we had once, when we came down into this world from the soul world, which lies high above the physical world. Also, it is not only the time to become pure and positive again and start a new life, but it’s also time to first return back to the soul world for a short while. After that, we will start a new cycle of many births and rebirths in this world. This is the rest the soul needs before coming down in the world full of actions, interactions and relationships. Hence, we are on what we call, the return journey and the cycle of birth and rebirth will repeat itself.
Returning To My Original State Of Goodness (Part 2)
Niceness at the level of our personality is original and our false or negative personality characteristics are acquired. A person who has been bad all his life is actually a very good soul or being originally and a person who has been good all his life is a much better soul or being originally. This is because we don’t limit our vision to a one birth reality because that is a false reality. A true reality is one of many births. A human being is temporary but a being is eternal. So, a being, which we call a soul, is nice when it begins to play its role in the birth-rebirth story of life. It is full of seven qualities – peace, joy, love, bliss, purity, power and truth. As it begins to play its role, it is not only full but is always radiating these qualities to others. This is called a no-expectations stage of the soul. As a result, it is constantly happy and overflowing with contentment.
As the soul passes a few births in its role play, it loses these qualities and starts asking for these qualities from God and others around it. Slowly, the soul becomes expectation filled and the seven original qualities inside it begin to decrease. Such a soul is not able to play relationships well and positively and also experiences hurt and pain in different ways. Although it receives some qualities from God in worship, it is unable to go to its original state of fulfillment, until it has complete knowledge of the self and God and also the Law of Karma. This knowledge is called spiritual knowledge and the only one, who has it in complete truth, is God. This knowledge from God helps us become full of all qualities and powers and as a result nicer beings or souls.

Returning To My Original State Of Goodness (Part 1)
A very important and influential aspect of our lives is living every thought in our actions. It is said commonly – that practice what you preach. In other words, you have many ideal thoughts and good view points and you keep them as benchmarks to follow and look up to. But, sometimes whilst performing actions, you don’t actually live by these benchmarks, which not only disappoints and gives sorrow to oneself but also disturbs and gives sorrow to others.
E.g. today I decide I will remain happy at any cost and give everyone the same. But as soon as I face a difficult situation or problem, it takes very little time for me to start worrying and radiating the same energy to others. Also, on another day I have an aim in my life that I will keep only good wishes for others. But as soon as I have to face a negative behavior of someone, I lose the love inside my heart and not only think negatively about the other person but also speak against the person to others. This spoils my relationships. So, these and many more are benchmarks which we keep in our mind and try and reach upto, throughout the day and everyday. Sometimes we are successful in doing so and sometimes are unable to do so. What is the reason for this? Are we not nice people at heart, all of us? Of course, some are nicer. But, according to spiritual wisdom, everyone is nice originally and basically. And also, everyone, at some point of time in their lives, want to be nice people. Some are serious in bringing about the niceness in their lives and natures and some think about the change towards becoming nicer but do not bring it in their personality with determination.

When you need to change – a habit, lifestyle, job, house, city, social circle or make changes in your thoughts, emotions and attitude, how open are you to change? In a world of rapid changes in people and events, adaptability is a very important quality which we need to possess at all times.
1. Anything you repeatedly do becomes your habit. Once you create a habit of who you are, what you do, how you work, where you live, whom you interact with – you settle into a comfort zone. The day any of these changes, it demands you to adapt to the new reality. How willingly do you adapt?
2. When there is a change around you, there needs to be a change within you – an inner preparation. Your mind may say - 𝘐 𝘥𝘰𝘯'𝘵 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦. Teach the mind that you have created so many changes in life, this is just one more.
3. Instead of sticking to comfort zones created by past experiences or past beliefs, be flexible. You have the power to adapt to any person, any place, any job, any environment, any situation. Within a few days this change will become your comfort zone.
4. Meditate daily to increase your power to accept, accommodate and tolerate. Adapting is a matter of breaking old and rigid thought patterns. Remember that you are always only one thought and one decision away from adapting and flowing with life.
