Financial Literacy starts with knowing the difference between ASSETS and LIABILITIES.
ASSETS are things you own that put money in your pocket or account.
LIABILITIES are things you own that take money out of your pocket or account.
One thing can be an ASSET or LIABILITY depending on your level of education on money.
Buying a car and driving around town, makes the car a LIABILITY. It's double liability if you use it to chase women.
But using the same car for ride-hailing or taxi, makes the car an ASSET.
That TV subscription or apartment that you enjoy alone and pay alone... How about inviting others to watch with you (TV subscription) or share the space on Airbnb (apartment) and split the cost or earn from it?

Instead, find a mirror and constantly tell yourself you will make it. Tell yourself that all the time. Don't listen to yourself. Talk to yourself.
Psyche yourself. Meditate on it so you don't hesitate about it. It is what you tell yourself that matters. But when you tell others, it scatters.
