Compared to 2019, SNP lost over 15,000 voters in the Rutherglen election. Even though Labour won, none of the SNP votes transferred to Labour or other parties. Labour lost 1,000 votes this time round. Voter turnout is down by around 30%, roughly 16,000 odd votes.
