To put this into perspective, the retirement age in the USSR was 60 for men and 55 for women. If you were engaged in heavy labour or worked underground it was even earlier.

The author asks "What did SBF have in common with the pro-Israel lobby and pro-Trump billionaires?"
His answer is simply that they all wanted to protect the status quo. He doesn't explain why they would all come together just on the specific issue of support for Israel though, because the obvious answer is the thing they all have in common is they're Jewish.
If you're a leftist like this guy you can go do all this research into funding networks and the behaviour of financial elites, then you end up with a giant list of Jewish names spending all their money on pro-Israel causes, and at that point you remember that dual loyalty is an anti-Semitic trope and have to just say they're so obsessed with Zionism because it's the status quo and billionaires like the status quo or whatever.
Why would a billionaire as a billionaire care about the fate of Israel one way or another? Why would you start a material analysis of how billionaires influence politics with the assumption that religious or ethnic affiliations never influence people's behaviour in any way? There is nothing "Marxist" or even leftist about this assumption, it's just a fear of the consequences of where such an investigation would lead. This is why there are basically no leftists today who are both honest and intelligent.
