Actually you’re doing the same as me.
Imagine my iPhone X is 5 years old and I still can update my IOS and it’s very fast.

Only problem is I have to charge it 3X a day

Yes but the cheap ones look the same so cannot guarantee it's an expensive one,when someone quickly looks at it. People know if they see an apple logo it's expensive 👍 I personally don't care anymore. A phone is a tool, if you think it's anything else you loose 😉👍👍

I only get a new phone when the current one is beyond repair, usually charper port not working anymore or some camera issues. I get a new phone once every 5 years probably.

For some people it is. I see people at work that make like $3k a month and they spend 2k on a phone, they're so excited and want to show it off to people, but then they eat noodles in a cup cause they are poor.
