For my coach to Macau the staff said there's an MCT of 60mins for passengers who have checked baggage so when I arrived at 6.05pm the staff said the earliest bus I can hop on is the 8pm.

Not sure if this is the case for ferries too or if SIN side can through-check your bags onto the ferry (which explains the CX codeshare)

You will go down escalator, take 3 min train ride to their ferry terminal next to airport. Hence I recommend to have at least 1.5 hr between ferry and flight if you want to go to lounge at HKIA

I go in Shenzhen mid Jan yearly where the fares tend to be cheaper. I agree if you go in peak period like Oct onwards, the fare can jump a lot 😅

so technically you can do it with any airline.

But by booking the flight+ferry option via CX's website solely allows automatic interlining of your baggage and pre-booking a timeslot for the ferry, eliminating the need to queue at the counter. Correct me if I'm wrong
