Mazkur kurslar yosh avlodning kasbiy yo‘nalishini aniqlash, amaliy ko‘nikmalarini rivojlantirish va ularni zamonaviy mehnat bozoriga mos mutaxassis sifatida tayyorlashga qaratilgan.

Within the framework of the “Dolzarb 90 kun” project initiated by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan on May 23, 2025, a series of short-term educational courses have been organized from June 30 to July 11 of this year at Management Development Institute of Singapore in Tashkent for schoolchildren of Specialized School No. 131 in Chilanzar District.
The courses are offered in the areas of Fashion and Design and Hospitality and Tourism, and are aimed at helping schoolchildren explore potential career paths, develop practical skills, and prepare for the demands of the modern labor market.

Motivational Training “Business Marathon” as part of the “Dolzarb 90 kun” Initiative
At the initiative of the MDIST Business Incubator, a motivational training session entitled "Business Marathon" was organized to actively engage students and youth in entrepreneurship.
The main objectives of the training were:
To foster an entrepreneurial mindset among students;
To increase their interest in developing their own business ideas;
To create networking opportunities with successful entrepreneurs;
To connect academic and practical knowledge with real-world experience.
At the end of the event, participants shared their feedback and expressed their readiness to begin working on startup projects in the next stages.

Forum davomida TSMRI 2-bosqich talabasi, Xalq deputatlari Toshkent shahar kengashi huzuridagi Yoshlar maslahat guruhi a’zosi, “Behbudiy” ko‘krak nishoni sovrindori M. Murodova o‘z nutqi bilan chiqib, kelgusi rejalari va ijtimoiy faollik borasidagi fikrlarini bo’lishdi.

“Oqila ayollar” harakati oilalar mustahkamligini ta’minlashda muhim omil bo‘lib, ayollarni jamiyatda faol ishtirok etishga, o‘z salohiyatlarini ro‘yobga chiqarishga undaydi. Ushbu forum nafaqat xotin-qizlar, balki butun jamiyat uchun ijtimoiy barqarorlik va farovonlik sari muhim qadam hisoblanadi.

From June 25 to 27, 2025, Dr. Dildora Ishankhodjaeva, Vice-Rector of MDIS Tashkent, participated in the esteemed British Council Conference held in Cardiff, United Kingdom. This distinguished international event centered on vital themes such as internationalization and the promotion of sustainable transnational education across diverse global contexts. The event was hosted by Cardiff Metropolitan University.
As a key component of the British Council’s Global Higher Education Programme 2025, the conference facilitated in-depth discussions on critical issues including internationalization strategies, quality assurance in higher education, and the development of frameworks for transnational education.
During the event, Dr. Ishankhodjaeva delivered an insightful presentation emphasizing the significance of transnational education in fostering positive cross-border exchanges of expertise within a comprehensive internationalization strategy. Furthermore, she conducted a keynote seminar, engaging representatives from a diverse array of higher education institutions globally, during which she was invited to share exemplary practices of MDIS Tashkent and insights on advancing internationalization and expanding transnational education.

On June 26 of this year, an excursion to the Wyndham Tashkent was organized under the "Dolzarb 90 Kun" project, in collaboration with Business and Tourism Development Unit and School of Tourism and Hospitality of Management Development Institute of Singapore in Tashkent and 131 school of Chilanzar district.
During the excursion, the schoolchildren gained more real entertainment about Business Hotels. The excursion further increased the students' enthusiasm for tourism and hospitality. Additionally, interesting pictures was also provided about the hotel rooms, services and restaurant.
The 131 schoolchildren were very impressed and delighted by the trip to this hotel, and it helped them to make more careful business plans in the future.

Resin Art Masterclass at MDIST Summer Camp 2025!
As part of the traditional "Summer Camp 2025" week held at MDIST, a variety of activities aimed not only at knowledge but also at aesthetic pleasure, creative growth, and personal development are organized for students.
One of the standout events during this period was the “Art Master Class”, dedicated to the modern technique of Resin Art (creating artwork using epoxy resin).
Main theme: “Sea Scenery” — the harmony of water, waves, sand, and sky.
During this workshop, participants deeply explored the technique of working with epoxy resin and brought their imaginative sea views to life—not on paper, but as genuine 3D Resin Art creations. Most campers encountered Resin Art for the first time and were amazed by the possibilities of this technique.
The Resin Art pieces, combining creativity, taste, and aesthetic feeling, attracted everyone’s attention.

From June 17 to 19, 2025, the Management Development Institute of Singapore in Tashkent (MDIS Tashkent) actively participated in the Inter University Incubation Program (IUIP) — a national platform aimed at fostering student entrepreneurship, inter-university collaboration, and the development of innovative student-led projects.
Two teams — Amplify and Atfal Community — representing MDIS Tashkent and mentored under the MDIST Business Incubator, successfully passed the official IUIP selection stage and advanced to the next phase of the program, which includes mentorship and acceleration support.
During the three-day program, participants engaged in mentorship sessions, pitch presentations, and collaborative panels with other university teams, receiving expert feedback and exploring opportunities for future partnerships.

Joriy yilning 24-iyun kuni 11-sinf maktab bitiruvchilari uchun ingliz tilidan o‘tkazilgan Olimpiadaning 1-bosqichi o'z nihoyasiga yetdi.
🔹 1-bosqichda ishtirokchilar IELTS formatidagi test orqali o‘z bilimlarini sinovdan o‘tkazishdi.
🔹 2-bosqich esa Aptis ESOL kompyuter testi orqali baholanadi.
Yuzlab iqtidorli yoshlar ishtirok etgan bu olimpiada nafaqat til ko‘nikmalarini oshirish, balki xalqaro standartlarda bilimlarini baholatish imkonini berdi.
🏆 1-bosqich natijalari 18-iyul kuni e'lon qilinadi va eng yuqori ball olgan 15 nafar bitiruvchi 2-bosqichga yo'llanmani qo'lga kiritadi.
Ushbu Olimpiada yosh avlodda ingliz tiliga bo‘lgan qiziqishni oshirish, bilimni rag‘batlantirish va xalqaro platformalarga tayyorlash yo‘lida muhim qadamlardan biri bo‘ldi.

On June 25, 2025, the School of Tourism and Hospitality at MDIS Tashkent actively participated in OBOROT-2025 – One Belt One Road One Tourism – an international conference bringing together leading academics, industry professionals in hospitality and tourism, and government officials.
The event was co-organized by the School of Hotel and Tourism Management at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and the School of Hospitality Management and Tourism at Central Asian University, Tashkent. The conference served as a dynamic platform for collaboration, knowledge exchange, and strategic dialogue on the future of tourism development along the Belt and Road Initiative.

On June 24 of this year, an excursion to the Tourism Lab was organized under the "Dolzarb 90 Kun" project, in collaboration with Business and Tourism Development Unit, Tourism and Hospitality school of Management Development Institute of Singapore in Tashkent and 131 school belonging to the Chilanzar district.
During this master-class, the schoolchildren gained more detailed information about restaurant business. The master class further increased the students' enthusiasm for tourism and hospitality. Moreover, interesting information was also provided about the hotel being built next to the MDIS Tashkent.
In addition with this ongoing project, 131 schoolchildren have expressed interest in enrolling in MDIST.

On June 23 of this year, an excursion to the Zangiota complex was organized under the "Dolzarb 90 Kun" project, in collaboration with Business and Tourism Development Unit of Management Development Institute of Singapore in Tashkent and 131 school belonging to the Chilanzar district.
During this excursion, the schoolchildren gained more detailed information about the saint. Their charmingly built mausoleum, madrasah, and courtyards made a great impression on the schoolchildren. The newly built market in front of this shrine especially caught our attention.
The purpose of this excursion is to help schoolchildren further their knowledge and spend their time productively during the summer.

“Eco Expo Central Asia 2025” — the regional center of ecological innovation.
Specialists and companies from more than 25 countries are presenting their innovative solutions at the international exhibition of clean ecological tourism “Eco Expo Central Asia 2025”, which will be held in Tashkent from June 19 to 21.
The program of the exhibition, which will be held at the “CAEx Uzbekistan” complex, includes open dialogues with the participation of environmentally friendly technologies, international startups, experts, panel discussions and business meetings.
This organized event by the initiative of the Ministry of Ecology, was attended by Business and Tourism Development unit, Scientific Research, Innovation and Consulting center and tutors’ team, Business Development and Tourism Innovation center, International Relations department, Business and Marketing school of the Management Development Institute of Singapore in Tashkent as guests and participants of the exhibition. The exhibition also included a presentation of a hotel being built on the territory of the Management Development Institute of Singapore in Tashkent.

Within the framework of the "Dolzarb 90 kun" project of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan on June 19 of this year, Business and Tourism Development Unit of the Management Development Institute of Singapore in Tashkent organized institute tour and tourism laboratory training for students of School No. 131.
During the visit, students were thoroughly informed about the institute’s educational programs, with particular emphasis on the School of Tourism and its contribution to the tourism sector. They were acquainted with the practical operations of essential departments within the Tourism Lab, including Reservation, Food and Beverage, and Housekeeping. Furthermore, students were introduced to various facets of tourism studies, encompassing potential career paths and the industry’s economic significance.
