Joriy yilning 23-dekabr kuni “Turkiston” san’at saroyida tantanali “Olimlar bayrami” bo’lib o’tdi. “Science and innovation” xalqaro ilmiy jurnali tashabbusi bilan har yili dekabr oyida tashkil etiladigan ushbu bayram O’zbekistonning eng taniqli olimlarini bir manzilga jamladi.
Tadbirga O’zbekiston Respublikasi Fanlar akademiyasi prezidenti va vitse-prezidentlari, 40 ga yaqin OTM rektorlari va ilmiy tadqiqot institutlari direktorlari, akademiklar, professor olimlar, xorijlik mehmonlar va yosh tadqiqotchilar tashrif buyurdilar. Bayram doirasida katta konsert va “Yil olimlari”ni taqdirlash marosimi bo’lib o’tdi. Unda 5 ta nominatsiya; Yilning eng yaxshi ilm-fan targ‘ibotchisi, eng yaxshi ilmiy tadqiqotchisi, eng yaxshi ilmiy muassasasi, yil olimi, ilm-fan sohasidagi xizmatlari uchun nominatsiyalari bo‘yicha eng yaxshilar taqdirlandi. Yilning eng yaxshi tadqiqotchisi nominatsiyasi g‘oliblariga TSMRI rektori I.Mamatkulov tomonidan mukofotlar topshirildi. Ikkinchi marotaba tashkil etilgan marosimda estradamizning taniqli san’atkorlari va so‘z ustalari mehmon bo‘ldilar.

On December 21, 2023, MDIS Tashkent held the Students and Staff Liaison Committee Meeting, which is aimed at fostering a collaborative environment and working towards enhancing the overall quality of teaching and learning at the institution.
During the meeting, MDIS Tashkent students actively participated and enthusiastically shared their valuable ideas and concerns specifically related to the ongoing first semester of the Academic Year 2023-2024. This platform provided an excellent opportunity for students to voice their opinions and contribute towards the continuous improvement of educational programmes and services.
The meeting also addressed several crucial matters that directly impact students' experiences, including the regulation of the attendance system, the social and academic aspects of student life, and effective classroom management. These discussions were aimed at identifying areas that require attention and developing strategies to address them appropriately.
Each question raised by the students during the meeting will be carefully reviewed by the MDIS Tashkent Administration.

Five important initiatives: basketball competition
On December 19th, a basketball competition among university students was held at MDIS Tashkent to fulfil tasks and activities for the memorandum "On cooperation between branches of foreign higher education institutions in Tashkent city and Tashkent region for the purpose of joint implementation of five important initiatives of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan."
The memorandum includes cooperation among the following tertiary educational institutions: the Russian Pedagogical University named after A.I. Gerchen, the Russian Chemical and Technological University named after D.I. Mendeleev, the Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov, the branches of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations in Tashkent and the branch of the National Research Technological University "MISIS" in Olmalik, and the host, MDIS Tashkent.
It should be noted that the competition was held in an upbeat spirit and aroused great interest in the audience, and the irreconcilable disputes between the teams added a unique spirit to the competition. In the final, the team of the Tashkent branch of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations battled against our team and won.

Konsert dasturida ingliz, ispan, rus va o‘zbek tilidagi qo‘shiqlardan tashqari, turli yo‘nalishdagi raqs guldastalari chiqishlari bo‘ldi. Barchani hayratda qoldirgan yana bir jihat — jonli ijrodagi “Kumush nolasi” qo‘shig‘iga “O‘tkan kunlar” romanidagi Otabek, Kumush va Zaynab obrazlarining gavdalantirilgani bo‘ldi. On December 7, 2023, a roundtable discussion with the officials from the Statistical Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan was held.
At the meeting, the deputy director of the agency, Ziyayev Zohidjon Muratovich, and a number of heads of departments made presentations about the activities implemented within the industry. In particular, the students learned about the latest news on the achievements in the field of new projects implementation. At the end of the event, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the parties.
In turn, MDIS Tashkent students took an active part in the round discussion and were awarded with preferential vouchers and books.

Cooperation with "Ipak Yuli" bank and "Payme" system
On December 29, 2023, the MDIS Tashkent management team held a meeting with the representatives of the "Payme" system and "Ipak Yuli" bank.
During the meeting, the parties got familiar with the payment system and its effectiveness and considered the possibility of creating conveniences for MDIS Tashkent students, increasing the ease of use of Payme and Ipak Yuli applications for paying bills, and making fast and easy online transactions.
It should be noted that the development of such cooperation is another step towards a promising future.

Scientists Awards 2023
On December 23, 2023, a solemn celebration of the "Scientists Awards" was held in the Turkestan Palace of Arts. The event, organised by the international scientific magazine "Science and Innovation," gathered the most famous scientists of Uzbekistan in one place and was attended by the president and vice presidents of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, about 40 rectors of HEIs and directors of scientific research institutes, academicians, professors, scientists, foreign guests, and young researchers. As a part of the celebration, a big concert and award ceremony for "Scientists of the Year" took place.
The awards were presented in five categories: best science promoter of the year, best scientific researcher, best scientific institution, scientist of the year, and service in the field of science. MDIS Tashkent Rector, Dr. Ilkhom Mamatkulov honoured the winners of the "Researcher of the Year" nomination.
We believe that our enthusiastic scientists will continue the scientific traditions of our great ancestors and make important discoveries that will serve the development of the country.

Joriy yilning 25-dekabr kuni institutimizning talabalar turar joyi binosida talabalarimiz bilan uchrashuv bo‘lib o‘tdi.
Uchrashuvda talabalarimiz bilan ochiq muloqot bo‘lib, unda talabalarning taklif va muammolarini o‘rgandik. Turar joy binosi shart-sharoitlari bilan tanishib, mas’ul xodimlarga unda yuzaga kelishi mumkin bo‘lgan noqulayliklarni o‘z vaqtida bartaraf etish, qish mavsumini betalofat o‘tkazish bo'yicha gaplashib oldik.
Shuningdek, uchrashuv so‘ngida talabalarimiz hamrohligida turar joy binosi oshxonasida kechgi ovqat tashkillashtirdik. Taom ustida talabalarning o'qishlari, kelajak rejalari bilan bog'liq masalalarni gaplashdik. Yoshlarimizdagi shijoat, o'zligiga bo'lgan ishonchning yuqoriligidan quvondim. Kelajagimiz shu kabi yoshlarning qo'lida ekanini o'ylab, inson beixtiyor faxr tuyg'usini his etarkan.

Getting to know our students
On December 25, 2023, a meeting was held in the institute's hostel, where we had an open discussion with our students and considered their recommendations and improvement suggestions.
After getting familiar with the conditions of the residential area, we discussed with the employees in charge the quick elimination of any inconveniences that may occur in it, along with a smooth winter season transition.
In addition, during a festive dinner, we talked about studies and future ambitions. I was truly pleased to observe our hostel staff's devotion and team spirit.

Qishki mehnat yarmarkasi-2023
Joriy yilning 21-dekabr kuni Toshkent shahridagi Singapur menejmentni rivojlantirish institutida bitiruvchilar va talabalar uchun mehnat yarmarkasi tashkil qilindi.
Unda iqtisodiyotning turli sohalariga oid 70 dan ortiq mahalliy va xalqaro korxonalar yarmarkada ishtirok etishdi. Talabalar sanoat menejmenti, bank va moliya, buxgalteriya hisobi, biznes va marketing, turizm va mehmonxona boshqaruvi, biznes va korxonalarni boshqarish kabi yo‘nalishlardagi bo‘sh ish o‘rinlari bilan tanishtirildi.

On December 21, 2023, MDIS Tashkent held a Winter Career Fair for its graduates and students.
The major objective of the event was to help employers locate eligible candidates among Institute graduates and students who matched the visiting organisation's profile.
Over 70 organisations representing different sectors of the economy attended the event, which included a number of activities, such as job and internship interviews and recruitment presentations, where MDIS Tashkent students and graduates could apply for jobs with national and international businesses that operate in the fields of industrial management, banking and finance, accounting, business and marketing, tourism and hospitality management, and business and enterprise management.

At the end of this week, a New Year's concert was organized in our institute. It is noteworthy that all the processes were performed only by students: stage performances, popular songs, dances.
In addition to songs in English, Spanish, Russian and Uzbek languages, the concert programme included various dance performances. Another aspect that surprised everyone was the embodiment of the characters of Otabek, Kumush, and Zainab from the "Otkan Kunlar" novel to the live performance of the song "Kumush Nola." The concert programme was staged in cooperation with "Cover club", "Dance club", "Creative club", volunteer-students and responsible staff, who created a great atmosphere in the hall.
The student spectators supported every performance of their fellows with enthusiastic applause. It is noteworthy that Mr. Gafur Davronov, a graduate of the institute and the founder of "Cover club" and currently the leader of the musical group "Tala Band" took part as a guest singer and shared his amaizing energy with everyone.
No doubt, yesterday we witnessed that the role of the students is incomparable in creating the social life of the institute. We do also expect such activities and initiatives from our students side in future events.

O‘zbekiston Respublikasi Konstitutsiyasining 31 yilligi arafasida Institutning "Zakovat" klubi tomonidan ichki birinchilik o‘yinlari yo‘lga qo‘yildi.
Avvalgi yillardagidan farqli ravishda bu safargi o‘yinda talabalar jamoalariga qarshi xodimlar jamoasi ham yetarlicha qarshilik ko‘rsatishdi. O‘yin davomida hech bir jamoa passivlik ko‘rsatmadi. O‘yin davomida savollardan tashqari, talabalar uchun foydali ma’lumotlar ham berib borildi.
Ushbu turnir o‘quv mavsumi so‘nggiga qadar davom ettiriladi va yakunda g‘olib jamoalar munosib taqdirlanishi ko‘zda tutilgan.

MDIS Tashkent "Zakovat" club debuted its internal championship on the eve of the 31st anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Unlike in past years, the staff team stood strong against the student teams this time. During the game, neither side was inert. Along with questions, relevant information for students was provided during the quiz.
This event will be held until the end of the academic year, and the winning teams will receive tributes.
