On the eve of the 583rd anniversary of the birth of the great Uzbek poet, thinker, and politician, our ancestor, Hazrat Nizamiddin Mir Alisher Navoi, MDIS Tashkent hosted an internal intellectual tournament "Zakovat".

Cooperation with the Samarkand State Institute of Economy and Service
On February 3, 2024, a meeting was held by the representatives of the Management Development Institute of Singapore in Tashkent with the representatives of the Samarkand State Institute of Economy and Service.
At the meeting, both sides considered the issues of publishing articles in internationally recognised journals in the fields of economy, finance, investment, innovation, and service.

Meeting with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium at MDIS Tashkent
On January 25, 2024, a meeting with HE, Mr. Marc Michielsen, the ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium to Uzbekistan, was held. At the meeting, the possibilities of cooperation in the fields of education and experience exchange were discussed.
In particular, MDIS Tashkent cooperation projects in the field of education with countries such as Belgium and France were highly appreciated by the ambassador, who noted that such cooperation will benefit both sides in the future and has unconditionally supported various projects, in particular initiatives that promote the exchange of experience in tourism, management, and other fields.

Uzbekistan-China Education Forum
On January 23, 2024, the Uzbek-Chinese educational forum took place in Tianjin, China.
The meeting was attended by the heads of Uzbekistan's higher education institutions, along with the leaders of Tianjin universities.
MDIS Tashkent and Tianjin University agreed to arrange personnel training courses, various internships, and a student exchange programme as part of their collaboration agreement.
It should be noted that the establishment of a Chinese language teaching centre at MDIS Tadhkent is another positive outcome of this collaboration.

Meeting with representatives of the Academy of Economics
On February 1, 2024, representative of the Bulgarian Academy of Economics (named after D.A. Tsenov) visited the Management Development Institute of Singapore in Tashkent.
The delegation, led by Academy professor Toshko Krastev, held a meeting with the Director of MDIS Tashkent Research, Innovation, and International Relations Department, Mrs. Dildora Ishankhojayeva. The talk centered on issues of mutual interest.
They also stated that the visit is an essential step toward developing strong cooperation between the Academy of Economics (named after D.A. Tsenov) and MDIS Tashkent. In the future, both parties will coordinate effective efforts to strengthen international cooperation, improve academic quality, and contribute to further progress.

On January 23, 2024, a meeting was held between representatives of MDIS Tashkent and the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank as part of business activities implemented in the People's Republic of China.
The purpose of the meeting was to establish cooperation with this leading international financial institution. In particular, tourism and hotel business cluster development and personnel training were discussed.

On January 20, 2024, a meeting with representatives of the international hotel chain "Hampton by Hilton" was held at MDIS Tashkent.
During this meeting, the opportunities for mutual cooperation were studied and discussed. In particular, the possibility of conducting joint training programmes and seminars aimed at increasing the knowledge and skills of hotel industry specialists was considered.

Cooperation with the International Association of Business Women "Tadbirkor Ayol"
On January 15, 2024, a roundtable discussion was held with Mrs. Shakhnoza Yusupova, business trainer and project manager of the international business women's association "Tadbirkor Ayol" at MDIS Tashkent Innovation Centre for Business and Tourism Development.
At the meeting, the association's efforts aimed at ensuring the competitiveness of business entities by retraining and improving the skills of businesswomen, creating organisational and legal mechanisms for increasing the economic and social opportunities of women, and providing them with legal support were emphasised.
It should be noted that, in accordance with the memorandum signed between MDIS Tashkent and the "Tadbirkor Ayol" international association of businesswomen, a conference with the participation of foreign experts and businesswomen and representatives of governmental and international organisations is planned for April.

Joriy yilning 12-yanvar kuni Toshkent shahridagi Singapur menejmentni rivojlantirish institutida, TSMRI hamda O‘zsanoatqurilishbank o‘rtasida anglashuv memorandumi imzolandi.
2020-2025 yillarda bank tizimini isloh qilish strategiyasi doirasida mazkur hamkorlikning asosiy yo‘nalishlari, jumladan, bank sohasida sifatli xizmat ko‘rsatish, biznes tahlil va loyihalarni boshqarish bo‘yicha qisqa va uzoq muddatli xalqaro o‘quv kurslari tashkil etish hamda O‘zsanoatqurilishbank xodimlarining Singapur, Buyuk Britaniya, Germaniya, Shveytsariya, BAA, Turkiya va Malayziyadagi yetakchi o‘quv markazlarida xorijiy amaliyot o‘tash imkoniyatlari muhokama qilindi.
Shuningdek, TSMRI talabalari uchun magistratura yo‘nalishida xorijiy mamlakatlarda o‘qish harajatlari O‘zsanoatqurilish bank tomonidan qoplab berilishiga kelishildi.

MDIS Tashkent-Uzsanoatqurilishbank: cooperation in the field of education and experience exchange
On January 12, 2024, a memorandum of understanding was signed between MDIS Tashkent and Uzsanoatkurilishbank.
Within the framework of the strategy of reforming the banking system in 2020–2025, the main directions of this cooperation include providing quality service in the banking sector and organising short- and long-term international training courses on business analysis and project management for Uzsanoatqurilishbank staff. In addition, the opportunities for foreign internships in leading training centres in Singapore, Great Britain, Germany, Switzerland, the UAE, Turkey, and Malaysia were discussed.
Also, it was agreed that the Uzsanoatqurilish Bank will cover educational expenses for MDIS Tashkent graduates to study at Master's programmes abroad.

Sport - sog‘lom hayot garovi!
Sog‘ tanda sog‘lom aql deydi dono xalqimiz. Shu bois, joriy yilning 12-yanvar kuni institutimiz xodimlari o‘rtasida, sportning shaxmat, shashka va stol tennisi yo‘nalishlari bo‘yicha musobaqa o‘tkazdik.

Hamkorlik memorandumi
Joriy yilning 11-yanvar kuni Toshkent shahridagi Singapur menejmentni rivojlantirish institutida, “Global Education Career Center” (GECC) hamda “Goal Coast Education” (GCE) nodavlat ta’lim muassasasi bilan o‘zaro anglashuv memorandumi imzolandi.
Uchrashuvda anglashuv memorandumining talabalar va mutaxassislar uchun ta’lim va kasbiy rivojlanish imkoniyatlarini kengaytirishga qaratilganligi, O‘zbekistonda bilimli va malakali kadrlarni tayyorlashda bevosita xizmat qilishi ta’kidlandi.
Qayd etish kerakki, memorandumda talabalarning ta’til paytlari Singapur, Koreya, Buyuk Britaniya va Germaniya kabi xorijiy mamlakatlarning yozgi maktablarida o‘qitish hamda malaka oshirish kurslarini tashkil etish orqali, xodimlarning malakasini oshirish imkoniyatlari ham ko‘rib chiqildi.
Shuningdek, hamkorlar o‘rtasida bunday kelishuvlarni bosqichma-bosqich rivojlantirib borish hamda istiqbolli hamkorlikni yo‘lga qo‘yishda ilk qadamlar qo‘yilganligi qayd etildi.

Memorandum of Cooperation
On January 11, 2023, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the "Global Education Career Center" (GECC), the non-governmental educational institution "Goal Coast Education" (GCE) and MDIS Tashkent.
At the meeting, it was noted that the memorandum of understanding is aimed at expanding educational and professional development opportunities for students and professionals and will directly contribute to the training of educated and qualified personnel in Uzbekistan.
It should be noted that the opportunities for skill improvement were also considered by organizing advanced training courses for students at summer schools in Singapore, Korea, Great Britain, and Germany.
It was also noted that the first steps have been taken to gradually develop such agreements between partners and to establish promising cooperation.
