MDIS Tashkent Holds Parents Meeting for Year 3 students
On March 5, 2025, MDIS Tashkent hosted a Parents Meeting for Year 3 students, bringing together students, their families, and university representatives to discuss academic progress, future opportunities, and student achievements.
During the event, the best-performing students were recognized and awarded for their outstanding academic and extracurricular achievements. A Q&A session was also held, allowing parents to engage with faculty members, ask questions, and gain insights into their children’s educational journey.

February 28, 2025, Tashkent – As part of a project exploring inclusive tourism opportunities, the Management Development Institute of Singapore in Tashkent organized a trip for people with disabilities to the pilgrimage and historical sites of Tashkent. The event involved 20 individuals with disabilities from the Akhangaran and Angren districts.
The primary goal of this event was not only to familiarize participants with Tashkent's historical and cultural heritage but also to examine the accessibility of cultural and historical landmarks for people with disabilities. Participants visited pilgrimage sites such as the Suzuk-Ota Complex, the Hazrati Imam Ensemble, and the Memorial Complex of Victims of Repression.
This project marked a significant step in enhancing accessibility for people with disabilities, improving their participation in the country's cultural and spiritual life. All three visited sites were prepared with the needs of people with disabilities in mind, allowing participants to comfortably explore Tashkent's history and spiritual heritage.
After the trip, participants expressed their gratitude to the organizers and the Management Development Institute of Singapore for the opportunity to experience this event. For most of them, it was their first visit to such sites, and the event became a meaningful step in promoting inclusivity and accessibility to cultural values.

On the 5th of March, MDIST had the honor of hosting an insightful talk led by Chief Risk Officer at SQB Ismagilov Salavat Foatovich and Evgeniy Sorokin, the Head of Data Science and Development of young talents Service. The primarily focus of the talk was on risk management techniques in the field of banking and finance. The event featured esteemed representatives from SQB who shared their expertise and industry experience with our students. Throughout the session, attendees gained valuable insights into the emerging trends and best practices in risk management and data analysis. The invited Guest Speakers emphasized the critical role these areas play in today’s financial landscape and the need for skilled professionals to navigate the complexities of the banking industry. In a spirited discussion, bank representatives highlighted the importance of practical training and professional development. They encouraged MDIST students to consider enrolling in their specialized courses and training programs. These initiatives are designed to equip students with the essential skills and knowledge needed for successful careers in banking and finance. Основное внимание встречи было уделено методам управления рисками в сфере банковского дела и финансов. В мероприятии приняли участие ряд представителей Sanoatqurilish банка, которые поделились своим опытом и знаниями со студентами. В ходе сессии участники получили ценную информацию о новых тенденциях и передовом опыте в области управления рисками и анализа данных. Приглашенные докладчики подчеркнули решающую роль, которую эти области играют в сегодняшнем финансовом ландшафте, а также необходимость в квалифицированных специалистах, способных справляться со сложностями в банковской отрасли. Tadbir doirasida Oliy ta’lim, fan va innovatsiyalar vazirligi hamda Sport vazirligi o‘rtasida hamkorlik bitimi imzolandi. Ushbu bitim davlatimiz rahbarining belgilagan topshiriqlarini amaliyotga keng joriy etishdagi qadam sifatida katta ramziy ahamiyatga ega bo‘lib, oliy ta’lim muassasalarida sport musobaqalari tizimini shakllantirish va mustahkamlashga yo‘naltirilgan strategik tashabbus sifatida e’tirof etildi.

On February 25-26 of this year, the international forum "Hotel Business Forum 2025" was held by the Hotel Association of Uzbekistan in cooperation with the Tourism Committee, in which MDIST also participated.
The main theme of the forum is "Innovation and Sustainability: New Technologies in the Hospitality Industry".
More than 400 participants attended the event, and 30 speakers shared valuable information about innovation and sustainable development in the hospitality industry.
In this forum Dr. Mamatkulov.I.A.- Rector of MDIS Tashkent greeted the participants, Dr. IshankhodjaevaD.A.,Director of the Department of Research, Innovations and International Relations of Management Development of Singapore in Tashkent, Dr. Sufyan Ashgar Mehmud, Leading lecturer of Business School at Sunderland, Bangor and Teesside Universities at the Management Development Institute of Singapore in Tashkent gave a speech.
Representatives of about 15 countries participated in the forum, including:
🇺🇿 Central Asian countries, 🇷🇺 Russia, 🇮🇹 Italy, 🇹🇷Turkey, 🇨🇭 Switzerland, 🇩🇪 Germany, 🇦🇿 Azerbaijan, 🇨🇳China and others.
− In the framework of B2B and G2B meetings, business and state representatives exchanged experiences.
− HoReCa products and services exhibition presented guests with the latest innovations in the industry.
− Lively panel discussions and sessions inspired participants to create new opportunities.
− 6 memorandums were signed, including agreements with Radisson Group and IHG Group on increasing the number of brand hotels in Uzbekistan and expanding cooperation.
Hotel Business Forum 2025 has become an important platform for the future development of the hospitality industry! Partnerships, new knowledge and industry best practices were shared.

A memorandum of cooperation between Management Development Institute of Singapore in Tashkent and Centrum Air📃🖋
On February 24📆, MDIS in Tashkent hosted a meeting with the representatives of the Centrum Air.
The meeting focused on implementing innovative projects and expanding education and training opportunities in the field of aviation, and arranging internships for senior and graduate students of MDIS in Tashkent. The attendees also discussed projects aimed at assisting students in the job selection process based on their academic potential, knowledge level, and skills.
Additionally, to strengthen cooperation in the aforementioned areas, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the parties. The memorandum will not only reinforce students' theoretical knowledge through practical experience but will also serve as an effective mechanism for ensuring their employment in the future.

Anjuman O'zbekiston Respublikasi Ekologiya, atrof-muhitni muhofaza qilish va iqlim o'zgarishi vazirligi, O'zbekiston Respublikasi Turizm qo'mitasi va Turizmni rivojlantirish ilmiy-tadqiqot instituti hamkorligida tashkil etilib, unda turli mamlakatlardan olimlar, yetakchi ekspertlar va turizm sohasi vakillarini o'z ichiga olgan 120 dan ortiq ishtirokchini jamladi.
Konferensiyada asosiy e'tibor mamlakatda va butun dunyoda faol va inklyuziv turizmni rivojlantirish va targ'ib qilishga qaratilgan bo'lib, ekspertlar barcha toifadagi sayohatchilar uchun qulaylikni ta'minlaydigan infratuzilmani modernizatsiya qilish bo'yicha ilg'or tajribalar bilan o'rtoqlashdi.
