💁🏻♂ માઁ દુર્ગાજીની નવમી શક્તિનું નામ સિધ્ધિદાત્રી છે.
💁🏻♂ આ બધા પ્રકારની સિધ્ધિયોને આપનારી છે. નવરાત્રી-પૂજનના નવમાં દિવસે આ દેવીની ઉપાસના કરવામાં આવે છે.
💁🏻♂ આ દિવસે શાસ્ત્રીય વિધિ-વિધાન અને પૂરી નિષ્ઠાની સાથે સાધના કરવાવાળા સાધકને બધી સિધ્ધિયોની પ્રાપ્તિ થઈ જાય છે. સૃષ્ટિમાં કશુ તેને માટે અગમ્ય નથી રહી જતુ. બ્રહ્માંડ પર પૂર્ણ વિજય પ્રાપ્ત કરવાનું સામર્થ્ય તેમાં આવી જાય છે.
💁🏻♂ માર્કણ્ડેય પુરાણના મુજબ અળિમા, મહિમા, ગરિમા, લધિમા, પ્રાપ્તિ, પ્રાકામ્ય, ઈશિત્વ અને વશિત્વ - આ આઠ સિધ્ધિયો હોય છે.

💁🏻♂ દેવીપુરાણના અનુસાર ભગવાન શિવે દેવીની કૃપાથીજ આ સિધ્ધિયોને મેળવી હતી. એમના આશીર્વાદથી જ ભગવાન શિવનું અડધુ શરીર દેવીનું બન્યુ હતુ. આ જ કારણે તેઓ સમગ્ર લોકમાં 'અર્ધનારેશ્વર' ના નામે પ્રસિધ્ધિ થયા હતા.
💁🏻♂ માઁ સિધ્ધિદાત્રી ચાર હાથવાળી છે.
💁🏻♂🦁 તેમનુ વાહન સિંહ છે.
💁🏻♂ તે કમળના ફૂલ પર બિરાજમાન છે. તેમણે તેમની ચાર ભુજાઓ પર શંખચક્ર, ગદા, પદ્મ અને કમળ ધારણ કર્યાં છે.
💁🏻♂ નવદુર્ગાઓમાં માઁ સિધ્ધિદાત્રી અંતિમ છે. અન્ય આઠ દુર્ગાઓની પૂજા ઉપાસના શાસ્ત્રીય વિધિ-વિધાનના મુજબ કરતા ભક્ત દુર્ગા પૂજાના નવમે દિવસે આ દેવીની ઉપાસના કરે છે. આ સિધ્ધિદાત્રી માઁ ની ઉપાસના પૂરી કર્યા પછી ભક્તો અને સાધકોની લૌકિક, પરલૌકિક બધા પ્રકારની ઈચ્છાઓ પૂરી કરે છે.
💁🏻♂ સિધ્ધિદાત્રી માઁના કૃપાપાત્ર ભક્તોની અંદર કોઈ એવી કામના શેષ બચતી જ નથી, જેને તેઓ પૂરી કરવા માગતા હોય. તે બધી સાંસારિક ઈચ્છાઓ, આવશ્યકતાઓ અને સ્પૃહાઓની ઉપર ઉઠીને માનસિક રૂપથી માઁ ભગવતીના દિવ્ય લોકોમાં વિચરણ કરતા તેમની કૃપા રસનું નિરંતર પાન કરતા, વિષય-ભોગ-શૂન્ય થઈ જાય છે.
💁🏻♂ માઁ ના ચરણોનું આ સાનિધ્ય મેળવવા આપણે સદા નિયમનિષ્ઠ રહીને તેમની ઉપાસના કરવી જોઈએ. માઁ ભગવતીનુ સ્મરણ ધ્યાન, પૂજન અમને આ સંસારની અસારતાનો બોધ કરાવતા વાસ્તવિક પરમ શાંતિદાયક અમૃત પદની તરફ લઈ જવાવાળી છે.
💁♂દુર્ગા સપ્તશતીના અગિયારમાં અધ્યાયમાં જણાવ્યા અનુસાર દેવતાઓને વરદાન અને સિદ્ધિ તથા તેરમાં અધ્યાયમાં જણાવ્યા અનુસાર રાજા સુરથ અને
સમાધી નામના વૈશ્યને અનેક પ્રકારના વરદાન તથા તમામ પ્રકારના ભોગ અને ઈચ્છા મુજબનો મોક્ષ પ્રદાન કરે છે.

💁🏻♂ આ કઠોર તપને કારણે તેમનુ શરીર એકદમ કાળુ પડી ગયુ હતુ. તેમની આ તપસ્યાથી પ્રસન્ન અને સંતુષ્ટ થઈ ભગવાન શિવજીએ તેમના શરીરને ગંગાજીના પવિત્ર પાણીથી અભિષેક કર્યો ત્યારે તેઓ વિદ્યુત પ્રભાની જેમ ગોરા થઈ ગયા. ત્યારથી તેમનુ નામ મહાગૌરી પડ્યું.

💁🏻♂ *વિશેષ-*આ દિવસે સાધકનું મન 'વિશુધ્ધ' ચક્રમાં અવસ્થિત થાય છે. તેમના વિગ્રહમાં ભગવાન સ્કંદજી બાળરૂપમાં તેમના ખોળામાં બેસેલા હોય છે.
ભગવાન સ્કંદ 'કુમાર કાર્તિકેય' ના નામે પણ ઓળખાય છે.
💁🏻♂ આ પ્રસિધ્ધ દેવાસુર સંગ્રામમાં દેવતાઓના સેનાપતિ બન્યા હતા. પુરાણોમાં તેમને કુમાર અને શક્તિ કહીને તેમની મહિમાનું વર્ણન કરવામા આવ્યું છે. આ જ ભગવાન સ્કંદની માતા હોવાને કારણે માઁ દુર્ગાજી આ સ્વરૂપને સ્કંદમાતાના નામથી ઓળખવામાં આવે છે.
💁🏻♂ સ્કંદમાતાના ચાર હાથ હોય છે. તેમના જમણા હાથમા નીચેનો હાથ જે ઉપરની તરફ ઉઠેલો છે તેમાં કમળનું ફૂલ છે. ડાબા તરફના ઉપરનો હાથ આશીર્વાદ મુદ્રામાં અને નીચેનો હાથ જે ઉપરની બાજુ ઉઠેલો છે તેમાં પણ કમળનુ ફૂલ છે. તેમનું રંગ સંપૂર્ણ ગોરો છે. આ કમળના આસન પર વિરાજેલા રહે છે. તે જ કારણે તેમને પદમાસના દેવી પણ કહે છે.

💁♂દુર્ગા સપ્તસતિમાં જણાવ્યા અનુસાર દેવતાઓએ કરેલ સ્તુતિને કારણે અસુરોનો નાશ કરવા માટે તેઓ મા અંબા તરીકે પ્રગટ થયાં હતા.શુંભ અને નિશુંભ નામના મહાપરાક્રમી દૈત્યો સ્વર્ગ ઉપર કબજો કરીને મા અંબાને પોતાની પત્ની બનાવવા માગતા હતા. ત્યારે આ અસુરોના વધ પહેલા તેમના સેવક અસુર ચંડ અને મુંડ સાથે ભયાનક યુદ્ધ કરીને તેમનો વિનાશ કર્યો ત્યારથી તેઓ મા ચામુંડા તરીકે પણ ઓળખાય છે.
💁♂સ્કન્દ માતાની અસીમ કૃપાથી મહાકવિ કાલિદાસ રચિત રઘુવંશમ મહાકાવ્ય અને મેઘદૂતમની સુંદર રચના થઈ છે. જે જગપ્રસિદ્ધ છે.આમ સ્કન્દ પુરાણમાં માતાનો વિશેષ મહિમા દર્શાવવામાં આવ્યો છે.
💁♂સ્કન્દ માતાનું મંદિર કાશીમાં જૈતપુર મુકામે આવેલું છે.
💁🏻♂ *નવરાત્રીનું મહત્વ-* નવરાત્રિ-પૂજનના પાંચમાં દિવસનું શાસ્ત્રોમાં ખૂબ મહત્વ બતાવવામાં આવ્યું છે. આ ચક્રમાં અવસ્થિત મનવાળા સાધકોની સમસ્ત બાહ્ય ક્રિયાઓ અને ચિત્તવૃતિયોનો લોપ થઈ જ)ધી ધ્યાન-પ્રવૃત્તિયોને એકાગ્ર રાખી સાધના ના રસ્તે આગળ વધવું જોઈએ.
💁🏻♂ માઁ સ્કંદમાતાની ઉપાસના થી ભક્તની બધી ઈચ્છાઓ પૂરી થાય છે. આ મૃત્યુલોકમાં જ તેને પરમ શાંતિ અને સુખનો અનુભવ થવા માંડે છે. તેને માટે મોક્ષનો દરવાજો ખુલી જાય છે.
💁🏻♂ સ્કંદમાતાની ઉપાસનાથી બાળસ્વરૂપ સ્કંદ ભગવાનની ઉપાસના પણ આપમેળે થઈ જાય છે. આ વિશેષતા ફક્ત આમને જ મળી છે. આ માતાનું પૂજન-અર્ચન કરવાથી બધા મનોરથ સિધ્ધ થાય છે. અને પરિવારમાં સુખ, શાંતિની સ્થાપના થાય છે. પુત્ર-સંતાનની ઈચ્છા ધરાવનારને તે પણ થાય છે.
💁🏻♂ સૂર્ય મંડળની અધિષ્ઠાત્રી દેવી હોવાને કારણે તેમનો ઉપાસક અલૌકિક તેજ અને ક્રાંતિથી સંપન્ન થઈ જાય છે. એક અલૌકિક પ્રભામંડળ અદ્રશ્ય રીતે હંમેશા તેની આસપાસ ફરતું રહે છે.
💁🏻♂ આપણે એકાગ્રભાવથી મનને પવિત્ર રાખીને માઁની શરણમાં જવું જોઈએ. આ ભવસાગરના દુ:ખોથી મુક્તિ મેળવી મોક્ષનો માર્ગ સરળ બનાવવા આનાથી ઉત્તમ ઉપાય બીજો કોઈ નથી.

💁🏻♂નવરાત્રિના સાતમા દિવસે કાલરાત્રિને પુજા કરવામાં આવે છે. આ દિવસે સાધકનું મન સહારા ચક્રમાં સ્થિર રહે છે. આના માટે બ્રમાંડની સમસ્ત શક્તિઓના દ્વાર ખુલી જાય છે.
સહારા ચક્રમાં સ્થિર સાધકનું મન પૂર્ણત: મા કાલરાત્રિના સ્વરૂપમાં અવસ્થિત રહે છે. આમના સાક્ષાત્કારથી મળનાર પુણ્યનો તે સહભાગી બની જાય છે. તેના બધા જ પાપો અને વિધ્નોનો નાશ થઈ જાય છે. તેને અક્ષય પુણ્ય લોકોની પ્રાપ્તિ થાય છે.
💁🏻♂ આમના શરીરનો રંગ ઘોર અંધારી રાત્રીની જેમ એકદમ કાળો છે. માથાના વાળ વિખરાયેલા છે. ગળામાં ચમકતી માળા છે. આમના ત્રણ નેત્રો છે.
માતા ની નાસિકાથી શ્વાસ અને ઉચ્છવાસથી અગ્નિની ભયંકર જ્વાળાઓ બહાર નીકળે છે.
💁🏻♂ આમનું વાહન ગધેડું છે.
💁🏻♂ આ ઉપર કરેલા જમણા હાથની વરમુદ્રાથી બધાને આશીર્વાદ આપે છે. જમણા હાથનો નીચેવાળો હાથ અભયમુદ્રામાં છે. ડાબી તરફના ઉપરવાળા હાથમાં લોખંડનો કાંટો તેમજ નીચેવાળા હાથમાં કટાર છે.
💁🏻♂ મા કાલરાત્રિનું સ્વરૂપ જોવામાં અત્યંત ભયાનક છે પરંતુ આ હંમેશા શુભફળ આપનારી છે. એટલા માટે તેમનું એક નામ શંભુકારી પણ છે.
💁🏻♂ આમના થી ભક્તોએ કોઇ પણ પ્રકાર નો ભય કે આતંકિત થવાની જરૂર નથી.
💁🏻♂ મા કાલરાત્રિ દુષ્ટોનો વિનાશ કરનારી છે. દાનવ, દૈત્ય, રાક્ષસ, ભૂત, પ્રેત વગેરે આમનું સ્મરણ કરવાથી જ ભયભીત થઈ જાય છે. આ ગ્રહબાધાઓને પણ દૂર કરનારી છે. આમના ઉપાસકોને અગ્નિ-ભય, જળ-ભય, જંતુ-ભય, રાત્રિ-ભય વગેરે ક્યારેય નથી હોતા. આમની કૃપાથી તે હંમેશા ભયમુક્ત થઈ જાય છે.
💁🏻♂ મા કાલરાત્રિના સ્વરૂપ-વિગ્રહને પોતાની અંદર સમાવીને મનુષ્યે એકનિષ્ઠભાવથી તેમની ઉપાસના કરવી જોઈએ.
💁🏻♂ યમ, નિયમ, સંયમનું તેણે પુર્ણ પાલન કરવું જોઈએ. મન, વચન, કાયાની પવિત્રતા રાખવી જોઈએ. તે શંભુકારી દેવી છે. તેમની ઉપાસનાથી થનાર શુભોની અવગણના નથી કરી શકાતી. આપણે હંમેશા તેમનું ધ્યાન, પુજા અને સ્મરણ કરવું જોઈએ.

💁🏻♂ માઁ નું નામ કાત્યાયની કેવી રીતે પડ્યું તેની પણ એક કથા છે- કત નામના એક પ્રસિધ્ધ મહર્ષિ હતાં. તેમના પુત્ર ઋષિ કાત્ય થયાં. આમના કાત્યના ગોત્રમાં જ વિશ્વપ્રસિધ્ધ મહર્ષિ કાત્યાયન ઉત્પન્ન થયાં હતાં. તેમણે ભગવતી જગદંબા ની ઉપાસના કરતાં ઘણાં વર્ષો સુધી ખુબ જ ઘોર તપસ્યા કરી હતી. તેમની ઇચ્છા હતી કે મા ભગવતી તેમના ઘરે પુત્રીના રૂપે અવતરે. મા ભગવતીએ તેમની આ પ્રાર્થના સ્વીકારી લીધી.
💁🏻♂ થોડાક સમય બાદ જ્યારે મહિષાસુરનો અત્યાચાર પૃથ્વી પર વધી ગયો ત્યારે ભગવાન બ્રહ્મા, વિષ્ણુ અને મહેશ ત્રણેય દેવોએ પોત પોતાના તેજનો અંશ આપીને મહિષાસુરના વિનાશ માટે દેવીને ઉત્પન્ન કર્યાં.
💁🏻♂ મહર્ષિ કાત્યાયને સૌથી પહેલાં આમની પુજા કરી. એટલા માટે તે કાત્યાયનીના નામથી ઓળખાઈ.
💁🏻♂ એવી પણ કથા મળી આવે છે કે મહર્ષિ કાત્યાયન ત્યાં તે પુત્રીના રૂપે જન્મ્યા હતાં.
💁🏻♂ અશ્વિન કૃષ્ણ ચતુર્દશીના જન્મ લઈને શુક્ત સપ્તમી, અષ્ટમી તથા નવમી સુધી ત્રણ દિવસ આમને કાત્યાયન ઋષીની પુજા ગ્રહણ કરીને દશમીના દિવસે મહિષાસુરનો વધ કર્યો હતો.
💁🏻♂ ભગવાન કૃષ્ણને પતિના રૂપમાં મેળવવા માટે ગોપીઓએ આમની જ પુજા કાલિન્દી યમુનાના કિનારે કરી હતી.
💁🏻♂ આ બ્રહ્મમંડલની અધિષ્ઠાત્રિ દેવીના રૂપમાં પ્રતિષ્ઠિત છે.
મા કાત્યાયનીનું સ્વરૂપ ખુબ જ ચમકીલું છે. આમને ચાર ભુજાઓ છે. માતાજીની જમણી તરફનો ઉપરવાળો હાથ અભયમુદ્રામાં છે તેમજ નીચેવાળો હાથ વરમુદ્રામાં છે. ડાબી બાજુના ઉપરવાળા હાથમાં તલવાર અને નીચેવાળા હાથમાં કમળ અને પુષ્પ સુશોભિત છે.
💁🏻♂ 🦁 આમનું વાહન સિંહ છે.
💁🏻♂ *વિશેષ-* દુર્ગા પુજાના છઠ્ઠા દિવસે તેમના સ્વરૂપની ઉપાસના કરવામાં આવે છે. એ દિવસે સાધકનું મન આજ્ઞાચક્રમાં સ્થિર હોય છે.
યોગસાધનાની અંદર આજ્ઞા ચક્રનું ખુબ જ મહત્વ હોય છે. આ ચક્રમાં સ્થિત રહેનાર સાધક મા કાત્યાયનીના ચરણોમાં પોતાનું સર્વસ્વ અર્પણ કરી દે છે. તેથી પરિપૂર્ણ આત્મદાન કરનાર આવા ભક્તોને સહજ ભાવથી માના દર્શન થાય છે.
💁🏻♂ મા કાત્યાયનીની ભક્તિ કરવાથી મનુષ્યને ખુબ જ સરળતાથી અર્થ, કામ, ધર્મ અને મોક્ષ ચારો ફળોની પ્રાપ્તિ થાય છે. તેમને આ લોકમાં પણ અલૌકિક તેજ અને પ્રભાવ મળે છે.
💁🏻♂ માતાને જે સાચા મને યાદ કરે છે તેમના રોગ, ભય, સંતાપ, શોક વગેરે દૂર થઈ જાય છે. જન્મ જન્માંતરનાં પાપોને વિનષ્ટ કરવા માટે માના શરણે થઈને તેમની પુજા ઉપાસની કરવી જોઈએ.
