Looks like a #bug in 11.8.271521 Stable
The Lock and Auto-Lock features just don’t work at all. Telegram remains unlocked no matter how long the computer is in sleep mode or with the screen saver activated.
Already reported that from macOS client we can't send gifts to channel?

steps to reproduce bug
1. open macos telegram client app
2. lock macos screen
3. unlock macos screen
EXPECTED: notifications are not hidden, user can lock telegram client
FACT: notifications hidden always, lock the client manually is impossible
