Fort Immanuel at Fort Kochi
Fort Immanuel at Fort Kochi was a bastion of the Portuguese in Kochi. It was a symbol of the strategic alliance between the Maharajah of Kochi and the Monarch of Portugal, after whom it was named. Built in 1503, the fort was reinforced in 1538. By 1806 the Dutch, and later the British, had destroyed most of the fort walls and its bastions. Today, remains of this once imposing structure can be seen along the beach.

Idukki Arch Dam
The Idukki Dam, located in Kerala, India, is a 168.91 m (554 ft) tall arch dam. The dam stands between the two mountains – Kuravanmala (839)m and Kurathimala (925)m. It was constructed and is owned by the Kerala State Electricity Board. It supports a 780 MW hydroelectric power station At 167.68 metres, it is one of the highest arch dams in Asia and third tallest arch dam. It started generating power on 4 October 1975. Technically, the dam type is a concrete double curvature parabolic, thin arc dam.

Mannadi, Pathanamthitta
Located around 13 km from Adoor, Mannadi village in Pathanamthitta district has a significant place in India’s freedom struggle against the British. It was here that Veluthampi Dalawa, the Prime Minister of erstwhile Travancore kingdom who revolted against the British East India Company’s supremacy in India, spent his last days. He committed suicide at Mannadi Pazhayakavu Devi Temple to avoid capture by the British.
The place now houses a cultural complex built in memory of Veluthampi Dalawa. The complex houses a pavilion with the statue of Dalawa, a museum displaying copies of historical documents (including the famed Kundara declaration) and an open-air theatre.
Set up by the Department of Archaeology, the museum gives a glimpse of the heroics of Dalawa and the culture of ancient Travancore. It also has an open-air gallery which includes portraits of all the Travancore rulers from Anizham Thirunal Marthanda Varma to Sree Chithra Thirunal. The museum also has several artefacts such as the stone statue of Buddha, ancient agriculture utensils, cannons and ancient war equipment. A picture gallery depicting the life of Veluthampi Dalawa and a numismatics gallery are also there.

Located right inside the sprawling Kerala Legislative Assembly Complex is a huge edifice which is a repository of the legislative history of Kerala- the Kerala Legislative Assembly Museum. With a vast array of photos and artifacts, the museum traces the journey of the Kerala Legislative Assembly. The museum also houses a model of the Assembly Hall, a mini theatre, library, research centre, multimedia hall and so forth.
The building was, in fact, the headquarters of the Travancore Nair Brigade in 1868 and was later used as a military hospital. Later on, it was converted into the Legislative Assembly Museum which was inaugurated on May 5, 2006. The museum gets a constant stream of visitors with researchers and school students arriving to learn about the history of the Kerala Assembly. On April 15, 2013, another building was added.

Kurumbalakotta (Malayalam: കുറുമ്പാലക്കോട്ട) is a hill in Padinjarathara of Wayanad district, Kerala. It is a monolith hillock in Kerala. It rises to 991 m (3251.31234 feet) above sea level. It is situated in the centre of Wayanad and also a part of Deccan plateau and the confluence of Western Ghats and Eastern Ghats. From the hill top, one can see the full scenery of Wayanad plateau.
