An Israeli rights group has collected testimony from released Palestinian detainees, revealing evidence of torture.
Released Palestinians had been held in Israeli custody since 7 October 2023 and faced abuse and inhuman treatment in prison.

On Tuesday, Hamas appointed its Gaza leader Yahya Sinwar as the political chief at large to succeed the late Ismail Haniyeh.
