There's no CEX that would support stables on IoTeX yet.
1) Best method I could think of is, swap your iousdt to IOTX via mimo.exchange (while the IoTeX Network is active)

2) If you have access to binance, transfer the IOTX there and swap to USDC/USDT.

You can go to coinbase » Select the USDC/USDT and see the available networks

Then that's on IoTeX Network. You cannot send that directly to coinbase. You will lose it.

so the steps for iousdt to USDT on eth should be

1) Go to https://iotube.org
2) Connect wallet » Select the IoTeX=>Eth path » It should detect any bridge-able tokens in your wallet
3) Use your non CEX wallet address to receive it
4) Proceed with paying all the fees and wait for USDT to arrive - I've confirmed, you will receive the standard Eth USDT i.e. no need to unwrap

yeah that's because some of the tokens that can be bridged are wrapped version which are not supported by CEX and a blanket statement is better at protecting users from losing their asset

I haven't really used them. but I can see they support usd p2p for several countries. If you want to use it as an on-ramp or off ramp, I 'd say it's reliable

That's almost how I would do it, I need to confirm the usdt contract on Ethereum though. Because I'm not sure if it's supported by coinbase

The one you are seeing on coinbase is IOTX-ERC20. It lives on the Ethereum Network.

You can use dex + bridge but it will cost you a bit more
