Dr. Andrew Law from IoTeX, using DePIN GPT, demonstrates how the AI can help project founders formulate the token economy of a DePIN project.
In this example, the AI suggested a really simple but practical tokenomy for the bike sharing project (that we've been talking about since the past few months).
Bike owners own NFTs to represent their bikes, stake the BIKE tokens, users of the dApp willl pay in stable. Rewards will be distributed in BIKE tokens to bike owners, network contributors, and other additional channels which can assist in sustainability

This Liquid Staking is different than the one that gives you the NFT as the receipt. I just tried staking with only 1 IOTX and it worked lol. I got 1 uniIOTX
So basically we have 2 different option for liquid staking
1) Via the interface on stake.iotex.io on PC which will mint an nft as the receipt. You can later on trade this via Mimo marketplace or probably use it in future dApps
2) use the bedrock.technology website on
PC. No minimum, no maximum amount but I'm still trying to confirm the unstake amount.
The unstaking on this website is defined differently - it refers to the period of your stake counting down as part of the unstaking/unlocking. As per the FAQ, by default, the staking period is only 94 days and I'm still trying to understand this statement - multiples of 1mill iotx (does that mean 1 mil, 2mill, 3 mill etc?) "Unstake can only be done in multiples of 1,000,000 IOTX and requires a waiting period of 94 days"

personally, I think it's very possible. The concept is crystal clear. We just need to add blockchain/tokenization to it.
Now to get a team to build/develop the whole thing is another story😅😅
Thank you very much for your response and clarification. Well, it would be great if it were possible for people with solar panels to sell electricity through some IoTeX project. For example, here in the Netherlands, when your solar panels produce more electricity than you use, it goes to waste. That's why I asked about it.
I've also mentioned a couple of times before why we can't connect weather stations to the platform or some project within IoTeX.
I am a meteorologist, and I know how fundamental and important this meteorological information is for everyday life.

This is probably the closest to the full utilization of the IoTeX tech stack.
Device owner registers/binds his/her devices » Choose which timeslot they are able to advertise » Advertisers upload and pay for the timeslot » The delivery of the ads is monitored/confirmed through w3bstream and proof is sent to the IoTeX blockchain to trigger the reward system for the device owner

Just playing around with numbers
Let's say equipment + service = $5k
You can sell $100 worth of extra electricity per month, so in a year, you'll be generating $1200.
So you'll need 4+ years to get the fees back. Assuming nothing changes (rate, policies etc) and ignoring anything non-routine, unscheduled maintenance etc.
BUT this is extra electricity. Meaning you still get to fulfill your household needs for 'free' and you just need some time to recover the installation costs
In Malaysia, we have that scheme - we can sell electricity back to the grid from solar, biomass, etc

the concept is developing alt power supply where there is low or no power supply energy.
on the other hand if tokenizing on Solar assets(like switch) for to allow anyone to easily invest on solar sector, then Yes!.
