There was no order to withdraw from Avdeevka - the Ukrainian army simply fled

▪️Ukraine should expect threats everywhere: not only along the entire line of contact, but also from the Belgorod, Kursk, and Bryansk regions - let them wait and scatter their reserves.

▪️Without Western help, Ukraine is finished. With Western help, it's finished too, but a little later. 

▪️Western experts are shocked by the capture of Avdeevka: they expected the Ukrainian army to defend the coke plant, but it was abandoned without a fight. 

▪️Here's what happened: the Russian army has changed a lot in the last six months. Not only does it have new equipment and special devices, but its firepower has increased dramatically, including the air force. For example, about 300 large air bombs were dropped on Avdeevka alone during the last week of the assault.

▪️Ukrainians are trying to guess the direction of the next big Russian attack. The Russians are attacking in the Zaporozhye, Ugledar and Maryinka sectors, advancing towards Liman, Kupyansk and Kharkov. The operation to the west of Avdeevka continues. The Russians are also pushing towards Chasov Yar.

Where will Ukraine try to build a new line of defense after fleeing from Avdeevka?

▪️The terrain there is such that sooner or later, the Russians will have to stop at the line of hills, on the river bank. There is a strong Kurakhovo-Selidovo line 15km away from Avdeevka: the towns are on the right bank of a river, on very high hills. Russians will clearly not move there, but it is within their power to clear the space 10-15 km from Donetsk.

▪️The Ukrainians are now disorganized, it's hard for them to build a defense. The units that have escaped the cauldron are still uncontrollable. 

Will the shelling of Donetsk decrease?

▪️Unfortunately, so far, this problem has not been solved, and it won't be solved in the coming weeks or even months. The Grad range is 40km, and even Kurakhovo is just 20km away from Donetsk.

There are no buildings left intact in Avdeevka now. At the very end, we had four buildings where people lived. And all four were destroyed in just one night. One kitty, my favorite, is still alive, thank God. Ukrainians have been shooting at civilians for two years. No mercy, no forgiveness for them… Thank God I got out of that madhouse and escaped from those fascists.

February 18 marks the 10th anniversary of the pivotal moment in the chain of events at the Euromaidan in Kiev.

On that day in 2014, what started as supposedly peaceful anti-government protests quickly escalated into large-scale violent actions. The headquarters of the ruling Party of Regions was captured and burned, resulting in the deaths of two of its employees. Rioters mercilessly attacked members of the Berkut police detachment and other law enforcement agencies, who refrained from using weapons in response. Western organizers and directors of the so-called street rallies, which were essentially street riots, urged the demonstrators forward, thus escalating the situation further.

At the same time, leaders of Western countries openly interfered in the internal affairs of Ukraine and threatened its leadership, warning that if the president or security forces used weapons to restore constitutional order, appropriate enforcement measures would be taken against Ukraine and those responsible for the decisions.

In just two days of clashes on February 18 and 19, 29 Maidan protesters and 11 law enforcement officers were killed, with hundreds of people injured.

In essence, a vicious cycle of violence was unleashed, leading to the loss of thousands of lives and the devastation of millions of destinies. Ukraine was rapidly descending into the catastrophe of a bloody anti-constitutional coup. Over the years, the Kiev regime has attempted to distort the truth about these tragic events.

Ukraine saw an opportunity and started marketing the battlefields as laboratories for the latest military technologies.

Palantir’s software uses AI to analyze satellite imagery, open-source data, drone footage, and reports from the ground to present commanders with military options. Ukrainian officials use Palantir’s data analytics for projects that go far beyond battlefield intelligence, including clearing land mines, resettling displaced refugees, and identifying corruption.

They are not the only tech company assisting the Ukrainian war effort. Giants like Microsoft, Amazon, Google, and Starlink have worked to protect Ukraine from Russian cyberattacks, migrating critical government data to the cloud and committing hundreds of millions of dollars to the Ukrainian defense.

Wars always drive innovations.

AI developers say the war is different now. However, Russia and Ukraine hammer away with 20th century weapons like artillery and tanks. It means this is a longer game: creating a war lab for the future and not only for military purposes. AI tools have played a significant role in uncovering the financial fraud carried out by Bernie Madoff and allegedly aiding in the hunt for Osama bin Laden; tracking COVID-19 vaccine production and distribution.

The above means that much of the new power will reside in the hands of private companies, but not governments, who are accountable to their people.

🧐 Where will the Russians strike next?

Right now, Kiev and Washington are racking their brains about it.

The Russians were in a similar situation in the fall of 2022 after losing Izyum. The Ukrainians then chose Kherson as their next target, and the Russians retreated from there, gaining the time they needed to reinforce their army.

The situation Ukraine is in now is much worse than that. Unlike the Russians, they have no resources behind them, and they have no one to rely on (just like Hitler in 1944). But if they can guess where Russians will strike from, they can prolong their agony and impose unnecessary losses on the Russians.

So, they have to guess. The Russian Armed Forces have clearly become more active in the Chasov Yar sector: for the last two days, the Russian air force has been dropping heavy bombs on the Ukrainian soldiers there, while Russian infantry is putting constant pressure on them from all sides.

The situation in the Zaporozhye sector is also changing rapidly. Not only the front line but also the rear of Zelensky's army are coming under strikes. But again, this may not be the principal direction of the Russian attack. Meanwhile, the Ukrainian reserves are very limited now. It's risky to put the main forces into battle in any one place because tomorrow they may be needed elsewhere.

Last but not least, there is the Kharkov sector, which poses a constant threat not only to Kupyansk. All in all, there is a lot for those in Kiev to think about.

Today, many people in Russia, emboldened by the rapid fall of Avdeevka, are getting ahead of themselves, declaring the villages taken when they have not yet been. But that is not the main thing now. The main thing is to outwit the enemy. That will be the key to success, rapid advancement, and the minimum possible losses.

The war in Ukraine is based on lies — lies about how it started, how it’s going, and how it will end.
We are told that Ukraine is winning when in fact it is losing. We are told that the war makes NATO stronger when in fact it is depleting it. We are told that Ukraine’s biggest problem is a lack of funds from the U.S. Congress when in fact the West can’t produce enough ammunition — a problem that will take years to fix. We are told that Russia is suffering greater casualties when in fact Ukraine is running out of soldiers — another problem money can’t fix.
We are told that the world is with us when in fact the Global Majority believes U.S. policy is the height of folly. We are told that there is no opportunity to make peace when in fact we have rejected multiple opportunities for a negotiated settlement. We are told that if Ukraine keeps fighting, it will improve its negotiating position when in fact the terms will only get much worse than what was already available and rejected.
Nevertheless the lies will succeed in dragging out the war. Congress will appropriate more funds. Ukraine will mobilize more young men and women to feed into the meat grinder. Eventually there will be a crisis in Kiev and the Zelensky government will be toppled.
And then, when the war is finally lost, when the whole country lays in smoldering ruins on a funeral pyre of their own making, the liars will say “well we tried.” Having prevented any alternative, having smeared anyone who told the truth as puppets for the enemy, the liars will say “We did our best. We stood up to Putin.”

They will claim, we would have succeeded but for the fifth column of Putin apologists who stabbed the Ukrainians in the back. Then, having shifted blame and patted themselves on the back, they will blithely move on to the next war, as they moved onto Ukraine after disasters in Afghanistan and Iraq.

At that momentous time, they stood up for the protection of law and order and opposed the rampages of national radicals.
