I started working on the second volume of the book.
I’m thinking of several additions:
1. The essays and reports will be band 7.0-7.5.-8.0 so it will be easier to learn/imitate
2. Along with the essays, there will be some explanation/analysis of some aspects of the essays/reports
3. There will be some pages dedicated to Q&A where I’ll be answering some of the most common questions related to writing.
The physical copy will be available in late August.
If you have any suggestions, feel free to leave them ⬇️
Good evening, Mister!
I'm enjoying the book. I got it today and analyzed some of the samples. They are so helpful, as I'm getting a lot of useful vocabulary and sentence structures.
Last year I bought your writing course, and now with this book, I'm realizing how to put the theories into practice.
Thank you so much🔥

If you think about it, there are billions of billions of galaxies with trillions of trillion stars. Everything is contained in an endless void. Compared to the size of the universe, we are smaller than a speck of dust. And we still choose to be unhappy. That’s the price we pay for being conscious. But it also means we can choose to be grateful, joyful, or even just present. And that’s powerful.

Читать полностью…Some people think that schools should select students according to their academic abilities, while others believe that it is better to have students with different abilities studying together.
Discuss both views and state your own opinion.
How students should be divided into classes in schools has long been a topic of discussion, with suggestions ranging from gender-based approaches to class-size based methods. One proposal which has gained much popularity in recent years is to assign students to groups according to their academic abilities. While some support this approach, others opt for the conventional, mixed ability classes. I agree with the latter view.
The benefits of ability-based classes, however, should be acknowledged. First, such an approach allows students to cover topics at a speed which suits them best, potentially leading to better academic outcomes in the long term. For example, while fast learners can advance more quickly without having to wait for others to catch up, students from lower sets can adopt a slower pace, without the fear and embarrassment of falling behind. This is simply not possible in a traditional classroom, with the difference between learning paces preventing a smooth and consistent learning environment.
Beyond creating a more comfortable learning environment, the ability-based classes often give teachers more autonomy. The preparation of teaching materials and lesson plans usually takes up much of teachers’ time. This taxing process becomes even more challenging when teaching mixed-ability classes, where teachers have to find the middle-ground in order to academically satisfy the needs of students at different levels. Teaching a class where students have similar abilities, on the other hand, allows teachers to tailor materials and plans with greater flexibility.
These arguments notwithstanding, I am strongly in favor of the mixed-ability approach to education. First and foremost, the ability-based division can be misinterpreted as academic discrimination, especially by younger learners. While the ultimate goal behind the selection of students according to their abilities is to make learning as well as teaching more effective, students who are placed in bottom sets may feel left out. If we are to implement the ability-based selection, ethical dilemmas and challenges should first be overcome.
Another challenge is of a more practical nature, raising the question of which abilities should be considered when placing students into groups. Oftentimes, when a student is bad at sciences, they are good at sports or other subjects or when a student excels in math, they may struggle with arts. So, if students are selected according to what they are good or bad at, this will potentially make it difficult to organize a curriculum suitable for every student, leading to conflicting schedules, the lack of classrooms, or other practical issues.
In conclusion, although the ability-based approach to teaching no doubt yields benefits, such as a more flexible learning and teaching environment, it raises serious ethical and practical concerns. Therefore, the traditional mixed-ability education remains the most effective approach to teaching.

In some countries, small town-centre shops are going out of business because people tend to drive to large out-of-town stores. As a result, people without cars have limited access to out-of-town stores, and it may result in an increase in the use of cars. Do you think the disadvantages of this change outweigh its advantages?
Consumerism has led to several changes in the shopping landscape. The most recent one is the rise of large out-of-town stores, which led to the closure of many local shops as people increasingly follow new shopping trends. This shift has raised concerns regarding the potential increase in car use. While this trend entails certain benefits, they are outweighed by the drawbacks.
Large out-of-town stores offer several advantages. First, such enterprises stimulate far greater economic activity. Smaller local shops are usually family run or operated by only a few people, whereas large retail organizations generate a huge number of jobs in many links within the institution, including in managerial roles, sales, storage, and distribution. This creates an opportunity for many people to have regular incomes, helping them elevate from poverty in many regions. Take Korzinka – one of the biggest out-of-town retail chains in Uzbekistan, which reportedly employs 10,000 people. Such examples reflect how such big organizations can contribute to greater economic activity.
Despite this, the disadvantages large out-of-town stores bring are more significant. First and foremost, people’s growing reliance on out-of-town stores can indeed result in higher rates of car use, with the environment ultimately taking the biggest hit. Cars have long been considered a major culprit in climate change, as they burn fossil fuels. While recent years have seen an increase in electric vehicle usage, such vehicles are still far from becoming the primary option for the majority of the world population. So, when people’s reliance on cars rises, so do the greenhouse gas emissions, potentially exacerbating climate change.
On a more personal level, a potential increase in car use can affect the quality of people’s lives. Apart from worsening air quality, cars often contribute to noise pollution, frequent traffic jams, and road accidents – major concerns for city dwellers. When these problems arise even in outskirts of the city – often associated with peace and serenity – due to the growing popularity of out-of-town stores, life in cities can become unbearable for many inhabitants.
In conclusion, one positive impact of the rise of large out-of-town stores is their potential contribution to the economic growth of the region. However, this benefit is overshadowed by negative effects this trend has, as it leads to increased car usage, which in turn worsens climate change and affects life quality for city dwellers.

It’s been a long time since I stopped using band descriptors during the lessons as they contain too much terminology and showing those to students have no use.
Instead, I usually give analogies from real life to explain a situation. Always, try to speak a language that students understand.
2025 has been a year of new challenges and hobbies.
Today, I ran my first half marathon. It’s a pity my phone died after the 15th kilometer.
For anyone wondering, a half marathon is around 21.5 kilometers. It took me over 3 hours to complete it because I walked for the most part, with runs/jogs in between😂😁
It was both a physical and mental challenge but I’m glad I could complete it. I’m planning to give it a go again after a week.
Plus, the essays are going to be much shorter, within the 250-300 range.
