With the Horizon upgrade, the Beam Network transitions to a permissionless, proof-of-stake consensus mechanism.

Initial Node Token Mint
▫️Mint fee: $1,250 during week 1, then $3,750.
▫️Payment in BEAM, USDC, ETH, or AVAX (week 1).
▫️After week 1, BEAM only.
▫️Mint fees paid in BEAM will be autonomously burned. USDC ETH, and AVAX will be autonomously swapped to BEAM and burned.
Validators and delegators earn two types of rewards:
1. Primary Rewards: Gas fees paid in BEAM.

Blockchain Capital’s Tokenized Fund Upgrades to ZKsync
Blockchain Capital (BCAP) announced upgrades to its innovative tokenized venture fund, which underscores its commitment to decentralization and efficiency in venture capital investing. As part of the upgrades, the fund will be offering dividend payments to investors and will be migrating fully to ZKsync.
Blockchain Capital will distribute to the fund’s token holders $0.25 per token in USDC. The dividend payout is expected on January 28, 2025. This dividend represents a return of 25% of the original purchase price of $1 per fund token in the initial token offering in April 2017.
