Faruk Fatih Ozer, who ran crypto exchange Thodex until it imploded in 2021, was sentenced to 11,196 years in prison by a Turkish court for crimes including fraud.

Taiwan’s financial watchdog has drafted ten guiding principles for virtual asset service providers — set to be released by the end of this month.
The regulator plans to stipulate in the principles that offshore crypto exchanges would not be allowed to operate in Taiwan without proper compliance registration.
