How could Littlefinger ever be dumb enough to think Sansa would want to be with him, even if he were King?
No woman, hell no PERSON besides damaged and disturbed Lysa(🤮🤮) enjoyed Littlefinger's company. Even Cat was disgusted by him, and she thought of him as a brother(once). How the hell did this guy think Sansa would ever want to be by his side, even if he happened to become King? Even Season 4 Sansa would rather be sewing pillows in cold and gray Winterfell than be his queen.
I think Book LF is smart and resourceful enough to become King (for a while), but he should also be smart enough to know that no woman is going to be attracted to him merely because he's a devious and cunning political chess player. Maybe if he looked less like a thin squirrelly weasel and more like a tall jacked warrior......maybe.

What is a very obvious fact about the show that you only recently discovered? For example, for some reason I never realized these two were father and son.

Never liked Talisa
She always felt out of place for me. It appears as if Robbs bad decision making started around the time Talisa became a more prominent figure in his life. He broke a oath he made for her which is bad enough in itself but what’s worse is the fact that he was Ned Starks son. Honour and duty should have come before love.

Why are people confused about Sansa being hostile towards Dany?
I'm watching the series for the first time and I'm on the first episode of season 8. I checked the subs posts and comments and a lot of people boil Sansa's hostility towards Dany as either Sansa being a power-hungry jealous bitch or bad writing. I think Sansa reaction to her was perfectly understandable and in character.
If you ignore stuff about the bad stigma of the Targaryen name and all the stuff the mad king and Rhaegar did. She is extremely protective of the North and her home as she's afraid of losing it again. But most importantly when Jon became king it was clear that she expected her position to be close to Jon or as equal. In her perspective Jon left the North against everyone's request left her deal with all the chores and then without informing or consulting her bend the knew to a queen she knows nothing about. I'd be quite salty if my brother gave away the independence of my country without telling me.
