🔹 $8000 per ETH by the end of 2026
The price of ether (ETH), the base cryptocurrency of the Ethereum blockchain, could reach $8,000 by the end of 2026 from the current price of about $1,600, according to a report by Standard Chartered Bank.
"Given Ethereum's dominance in smart contract platforms and new applications in gaming and tokenization, ETH could reach $8,000 by the end of 2026," said Jeffrey Kendrick, head of forex and cryptocurrency research at the bank.
Kendrick also noted that $8,000 is only the first step towards the long-term target value of ether in the range of $26,000 - $35,000. At the same time, the future use of Ethereum in games and tokenization should support this growth.
